The ships back off to their maximum hi-band sensor range.
(They are very technologically advanced so thats quite a long distance, to the battlestar it probably looks more like long range scanner only distance for ships of their size)

Undated_Abyss (Battlestars can see any kind of ships, even missals... they call it DRADIS... the weak part of it is that DRADIS doesnt have that big of a range... Bigger Battlestars and Modern ships have better ones, but that is a old and LIGHT battlestar soo you can expect much out of it)

The Demolisher stops, kinda close to the Wreckage, but does not back off.
