The zurkonian armada is officially owned by @ZurkonianArmada and is a peace keeping organization. We are willing to drop into heated areas for civilian extraction, and we are willing to attack all who declare war on peaceful factions. We do not, however, just join in on lore.... we must be asked first. We have a secret station under development, and it is designed to be our ultimate peace keeping force. Also, we have a website:

ZurkonianArmada The Collective do recognize the Zurks as a positive influence on their operations, and may agree to an alliance of sorts. The Assault-Class could not relay that information to them, however, because they are essentially narrow-minded tactical processors focused on getting the job done rather than the politics of other factions. The Explorer-Class in the Gateway One starbase will, however, relay to Fortress Alpha the details of the alliance just made with the Zurkonians.

Drakador_Chaos Nova Republic wasn't a fanatic, just attacked threats that attacked it and others, so that's why it gave up peacekeeping to become an independent faction.
