With most of the occupying forces gone, Fortress Alpha passes through the battlefield at relative speeds. The supernova hits the fleet, but with the rift-based higher auras surrounding the fleet, most of the ships pass through with relatively low damage.

Assault-Class hulls are notably susceptible to heat, cryo, or basically most elemental damage and erosion, and especially for some of the smaller ships, some of them burned down and eventually exploded despite having a defensive aura imposed upon by a literal god. Fortress Alpha suffered a few minor scorches to the hull, but the damage was negligible.
Fortress Alpha eventually passes through the destroyed system and continues its course.
