The bombardment simply bounces off of the immense planetary shielding, as 'Generaleingang Norden' s Planetary Defense cannons open fire, the crippling boom ripping trees put of the ground, deafining any person dumb enough to stay on the surface, and producing a muzzle flash akin to nuclear explosions, the massive rounds fly at incredible speeds, almost FTL, right into the heart of the attacking fleets, exploding on a remote detonation with the force of several hundred nuclear blasts..
At the same time the massive defensive fleet flares out and opens fire, ripples of shots travelling towards the attackers, walls of rounds, from not a few angles literally blotting out the system's,sun..
