@Namek you'll have to add porta-pottys to your mod now.
Bubbet Well, that answers where crew go to the bathroom...
roger2001 i am planin to mak a pording porty
roger2001 can yo make a pording sip mod
u can technically build a ship and call it a "boarding craft",but no,u can't board other ships yet
if yo now how and wot to rit the mod
maybe it is the way of writting for texan cowboys
the mod has to be rito i oridy hve te imig redy
the imig is not sowing up
I'm not sure what a quarter of what was said means...
But a "boarding party" mod is possible, if you're willing to code at a low level/create a kind of mod loader which affects the game's mechanics.
And apparently I can like my own post...
CaptainSkwidz Dude, it is litterally impossible, so please dont give him false hope, Ive told him like 10 times already...
So dont say stuff you dont know about please... Sorry for my rudeness or if I sound agressive...
Namek It'd be possible if you created a mod loader. You'd be creating the mod loader so that mods made with c# could be loaded and edit the game files.
Instead of impossible it's improbable. Creating the modloader would be pointless since Walt has plans to do it anyway and I imagine it'd be really hard without the source code for the game. Definitely not impossible though if you can rig up some way to edit the game code.
minimurgle Yeah, but it isnt intended yet, since Walt hasnt implemented it for a reason, thats why I say it isnt possible yet! And every change you make using C#, the result is always a crash...
Namek And every change you make using C#
mabey we are doing it the wrong way...
jbox1 Im not the one who tried, Zerg tried, and he knows C# among some other languages, and informed me about Walt blocking changes
You know you can mod fire to look like a guy, right?
Canoneer yes, but then, all fire looks like a guy O_O
Also, it would make the “guy”s inexplicably reproduce, and I don’t want to have to explain that in the mod description...
lol if you can program it you can do it, especially with assembly unless of course what you're trying to modify with assembly exists on a kind of computer which does not function like a classical machine (ie quantum)
CaptainSkwidz As I said for the 100th time, it isnt possible, since C# modding is impossible, since every change you make with the core code, makes the game crash, so we just have to wait till Walt adds it...
do you even know what assembly is?
CaptainSkwidz Well, if you would read my messages where I explain why it wouldnt work, you would understand me, but after this Im not even going to try to explain.
Could we sum it up like this and end this argument?
It is indeed, technically possible, however, to do so you´d probably have to put a pointless amount of work into it and do some pretty severe changes to the games basic code.
