Jenwuf Spider is shocked at the events that have happened. He takes a deep breath, then tells the truth.
Spider: "Honestly... Erm... Alright! Tell anyone and I'll make sure Tim gets another Head in his room, You Hear?"

The squad turns around to look at Spider. Six is quick to speak.
Six: "Sir, You Sure about this? How'll they live bearing this secret?"
Spider turns around and nods bravely, then turning back to nod at Chey and Echo.

Spider: "Truth is, They were already infested. We were hoping to use them against the Tau So that we could make a Deal between the Humans of the ISC and the Tau. It was hard on me to make the call... Seeing how many people, man or Tau, just like us, would die such a lifeless death. I had to live with many things already. That Vizeron guy, My best friend Alex dying right in front of me, or heck, even just seeing him in critical condition after those scum attacked."
Spider, a ruthless killing machine and all, sheds a single tear, one of Fear and disdain...

Spider: "Darn you two... We all know this galaxy; no, this universe, is not fair... It will never be. It never was. We're trying to balance it. We all feel regret when we kill somebody. Heck, Even if just a tiny bit. But, You know what I tell myself back? If the Universe ain't fair, Cheat it more. Show it who's boss, Dangit."

As Spider Removes the seldom tear touching his beard with one of his arm's wires, His scanner becomes alive, Playing a massive alarm. Living clumps of the Corruption begin to retreat to the core, Repairing it as if to... Prepare for something.

Dice: "SH-! LUCK CHECK'S LOWEST THING I'VE EVER SEEN! IT'S THE PLANTS!"

Tim: "BY SPODE! WE NEED TO PICK UP THE GODDAMN PACE!"

Wait... Who?! The PLANTS? The Troopers look like they're going to faint from horror at this sight... What do they mean? As the Faragaut shatters further, one cannot help but wonder why the damage is less of a concern...

Chey: "so... hmm. Never mind that now, just... lets just hurry up ok, I'm sure there will be time to speak later if we escape, but you really should consider the damage this thing is taking, shame chip is gone, he would know how how to get around this thing, heck maybe even repair it."
Their expressions on their faces are only that of sorrow at this point. But they continue onwards regardless.

High pitched space-warping sounds were heard all across the remnants of the Faragut, Spider's scanner shows they are similar to small-scale rift-signatures, creating artificial lifeform signatures and then disappearing. Subsequently, a mixture of flame sounds, acid clouds expulsions and voidspells could be heard throughout the ship.

A squad of blue-and-turquoise androids round the corner with weapons raised, the leader seeming to be an imposing figure with concave edges and multiple auras.

((These are explorer-class androids, and the leader is a scion. Any secret information will be revealed to them, but only them. Basically, whoever is secretly infected themselves will be revealed to the Collective, and if scanned, they will know every single detail of an entity - the only limiting factor is that ONE SCION CAN ONLY SCAN ONE ENTITY AT A TIME. If they scan someone else, they stop tracking the previous subject of the previous scan, but some information (in this case, whoever is infected) can be discerned from all entities when they have a certain aura. Scions are only meant to SEEM unfair, but they actually quite defeatable if the situation has to come to it.))

Jenwuf RandomCommander Spider immediately realizes they're a threat, and seldom mobilizes the troopers...
Spider: "Alright men! We have a complication. We're going to have to avoid those things! I don't know who they are, but we need to take 'em Subtly! Got That?"

The troopers turn to Spider and Salute.
All: "Yes, Sir!"
Six: "Wait... Why again?"
Spider: "Gnd xz ;.d kcklg..."
Six: "Oh yeah... Wait... Do you think that's why the scum are here, sir?"

Spider Turns around to look at Six, wide-eyed because of the realization.
Spider: "Bet Terribili doesn't want humanity takin' another one of his "Precious Creations". For being a Plant, well, I never thought there were sentient plants out there, and even less did I expect to want to kill 'em so bad."
Six: "Well, we need to keep project Vanessa safe."
Buck: "Wait, The Giant guy that destroyed my station post? LEMME AT 'EM!"
Spider: "Surviving first, Giant Murder later, Buck."
Buck: "I'LL EAT THAT PRICK'S CORPSE RAW!"

Buck, In his rampancy, goes into predator stance, Takes out his knife, and runs off on his own.
Dice: "We're running out of Bad Dice rolls."
Six: "...I'll agree to that."

Before giving the command to move out, Spider asks Six two Questions...
Spider: "Alright Rookie. Tell me why you didn't use Arsceant, and tell me again why the HELL we brought Sample 50N3550 Along?!"
Six: "Well, to be honest, these Tau already know too much! We should let them know everything before we-"
Spider: "THEY ARE NOT GOING TO BE EXECUTED, SIX. DO EXECUTE THEM, AND I'LL LET YOU JOIN 'EM! UNDERSTAND?"

Six takes an annoyed Sigh, Masking his inner turmoil at the situation...
Six: "The Reason I brought 50N3550 along was..."
Six Falls to his Knees and Punches the floor.
Six: "It's all I have left..."
Spider: "What?"
Six: "That's... Not... That Tau, Chey, She'd know what I'm trying to say..."

Chey looks away, before opening her mouth to speak, but words fail to escape, and she remains silent.
However, she manages to pull herself together and say:
"I-i-it's... complicated"
she closes her eyes, before turning away to wipe a tear from them.
she clenches her paw not holding the shotgun into a fist before speaking up again
"this is so stupid"
"why can't it all just go back to how it was..."

The Scion, looking this way, turns back around as plant-like shuffling occurs, and a mostly-silent screech could be heard before the squad of androids annihilate it with a combination of elemental weapons. It... he? she? begins to walk on with the rest of the squad.

Still, the sounds of combat could be heard around the remnants of the ship, still being torn apart by ship-grade weapons fire.

The Troopers look at Chey. Spider is quick to respond to her...
Spider: "I will agree on that... I can't live with the Fact my best friend's dead."
Ted: "Who can?"
Dice: "So what did Six mean by "That's all he has left"? Doesn't he have Ted?"
Six Turns around, Tackles Dice, and holds a plasma Blade to his throat.
Six: "Do I? Sure as hell wish I did!"
Spider: "Yeesh! Easy Six! Better them before ourselves!"
Spider pulls Six off of Dice, then orders everybody to Get into the Ventilation system of the Faragaut while they talk. Better Safe than Sorry.

Spider: "Wait Kid... You telling me... The Moira?"
Six: "Sh- Yes... The Modified Moira sample infested him. It is merely memory that makes this husk Ted..."

Spider: "Well Sorry for your loss, Kid. What makes the Sample so Personal?"
Six: "The Pilot... She was my Wife, Spider. Captain Jenny... We collected the Sample together with Ted. It absorbs Dust."
Spider: "Why's that Important?"
Six: "It absorbs the Genetic material of dead cells. It seems to be able to filter it into some sort of Archive... Wait... Sh-... That brings me "Pleasant Memories"..."
Dice: "The Thing, Released June 25, 1982, based off of the story "Who goes there". Pretty F'n scary, If you ask me. Not A-"
Six: "DO NOT SAY IT, DICE. I WILL KILL YOU."
Dice: "Noted."

To avoid the Scions, The Troopers, Echo and Chey climb into the ventilation. In it, there's Writing Written in blood, Saying "Thank you." to the Ventilation System, probably. The Corruption is indeed airborne. There are also cracked skulls in the Ventilation Network, as well as other bones. At a fork in the ventilation, You see a dead body that committed suicide to not be converted unto the Corruption. It's an Insectoid Tau that was somehow smart enough to give itself protection... Weird.

Six: "SH-! THESE THINGS AGAIN!"
Six takes out his Shottie, but Spider Restrains it.
Spider: "It's already dead, kid. Ain't no Heart beating in that thing. No Neural activity."
Six Puts the Shotgun back on his back.
Six: "Good enough for me. Goodbye, Foreignface!"
The Group then Crawls onward...

Echo: "so Cheyanne, what are you going to do if they let us go?"
Chey: "i don't know, i didn't really think about that..."
Echo: "well, you must be able to think of something"
Chey: "other than the obvious, probably go see the new flagship He told me about"
Echo: "who's h--- oh, right... Wait what flagship?"
Chey: "you didn't hear? The naval ship they are converting to a spaceship, going to have cannons the size of entire ships."
Echo: "that doesn't seem practical"
Chey: "phh, come on, it doesn't need to be practical, it's a statement."

they then pass the Dead Insectoid, and all conversation stops once again.

As the group passes the dead insectoid, they pass through a vent grate. They take caution as there might be Corrupted, or another of those Scions,..

...Well, there was definitely a droid, but at the limited sight through the grate, it didn't seem like it was a Scion, more like one of those that escort the Scion to their destination. It spoke in a mechanical, yet seemingly young voice.

"Guardian-Five-Two reporting: Crew Quarters Foxtrot is secure. No sign of uninfected survivors. Anyone else have any luck?"
"Negative, Guardian. Scion-Seven-Alpha had reported a possible sighting, but could not confirm successfully--"
"All Units, this is Assault-Class Exterminator Newt. Explorer-Class Units be advised, Scion-Two-Nine's squadron has been destroyed, and the Corruption material seems to be better able to spread on their chassis. Note this change in behavior and adapt accordingly - we cannot take any chances. "
"NEWT, this is Guardian-Five-Two, did you destroy the affected units?"
"Guardian, the units were already destroyed, but we have also already burned their carcasses to a crisp, if that is what you meant."

This "Newt" guy sounds ruthless. Best to avoid him if possible.

After a While of Crawling through the Vents, The Troopers, Chey, and Echo Make it to the last "Key"- A Mass of Corruption, Built like a Mech, with two Blades and Multiple Tau Shields. On it's back is a suicide Grenade like those from earlier. Spider scans it, then realizes he has made a huge mistake...

Spider: "Oh Galactognat Dump. This things made from the Biomass of the Dead Troopers."
Six: "Does that mean..."
Spider: "Yes. Now's not the time to be a Wimp, Kid. What's the Plan?"

After what can be presumed to be a killing spree, Buck returns, Trying to tackle the Mass of flesh. However, it's coated in the Armour of the Troopers from earlier...

Buck: "Aw Come ON! This S- Ain't Right!"
Dice: "BUCK! EVASION CHECK!"

Buck looks at Dice, visibly confused, before the Fleshball fights back, Throwing him into the Blast door, and creating a small dent in it. Buck Tries to raise his head after the blow, but he collapses from the blow, Attempting to get up again to no prevail... From all sides going inward, more and more Corrupted Globs of flesh Squeeze under the blast door. In the meanwhile, The Mass turns around to look the rest of the Squad Head-On...

Multiple sets of footsteps hurriedly run around the ship, and the squad can hear it from all around. Most notable is a very heavy set of footfalls coming towards a blast door, crashing against it the first time. The subsequent noises sound like something big, mean and nasty communicating to something, but it is hard to hear what it is trying to say. Something about the Collective and reinforcements.

After that, some sort of deep humming sound ensues, and increases in intensity from the other side of the blast door, orange glow radiating from the edges. Something big is going to try busting through the door...

The Violent Ramming hits the Vent, Launching it into a Wall. On the Two sides of the Disconnected Vent, in a heavy daze, Spider and Buck each take out their Shotties, Preparing for what just came for them, Unaware they are allies. (In the meantime @RandomCommander 's Scions are probably more than slightly dead getting hit directly by a crashing dropship... Oi...)

Spider: "What the HELL was that?!"

Buck: "I don't know, but I REALLY want to shoot it!"

Spider: "Enough Buck. Raise your weapon and hold position. I want everybody else to be armed in there if you're alright..."

Buck and Spider Lean out of the Vent's holes and point their weapons at the heavy Smoke... Whereas Spider is tense, Buck is having (In?)Voluntary Muscle Spasms, waiting for the supposed foe to walk out of the thick smoke...

Spider and His Troopers React almost immediately to the situation, Crawling back into the vents, the vent above the Blast door in particular. (There isn't a hole into the command room here)

Buck Is about to unleash every single Shell in his Shotgun, but Spider Raises his hand, Signaling the sector is clear. The troopers nervously crawl out of the vent, Six Escorting Chey and Echo out. Spider sends a Broadcast to his Troopers.

Spider: "Not sure If we can trust these guys fully... Stay on guard, Keep your eyes peeled, and we should smooth-Talk our way out of the Sphere being Infested as well as us Dying, You hear?

With this, Spider walks out of the vent, faces the Drones, Then Puts his shotgun on his back strap.

Spider: "Alright. Howdy. What brings you here?"

Spider has his Biological hand Close to his Knife, should anything get ugly. One can clearly see his remaining eye is full of doubt and distrust through his visor at the sudden violent landing. In the background, Dice is relaxing, Leaning on the Corrupted, Bony wall behind him.

Six: "Wait... Buck, how are you alive? Weren't you knocked out?"
Buck Shrugs. He has no Flipping idea about how he survived being crushed, as well as ending up in the vents. Six turns to stare at the Sample, noticing that in the crash the Test Tube Broke. He then Jumps Backwards terrified, accidently running into Chey.

Out of nowhere a dropship owned by omega flew into the faragaut, as one engine wasnt working properly, as it hit the door opened up as several droids dragged out one weird case, It was pretty large as they carried it over and tried to locate the survivors...

The dropship could still be piloted but it would be hard as it is drone controlled and someone would have to wire it to a new panel to actually manuver the ship

One of them is painted with purple stripes and is black instead of the normal white of the Droids

"This is Omega-73, We have brought a portable rift gate that can extract you from the location..."

Jenwuf (Chey and Echo are probably Injured in the vent, as the Armour lost it's Ballistic coating that would prevent you from knocking into the hard stuff... Six and Ted are Protecting them though.)
