In the distance, you saw the blue lights heading to the ruins of the ship where the infected creatures are, they came with the dropships, basicaly becoming a protective ball around them to safely land supplies and units.

Suddenly, More Abominations Approach the group. Everybody's back to back, Wildly firing off their shotguns... But they just keep coming.
Spider: "Y'know I'd love to use my Prosthetics, but I don't want to become one of them. No Siree."
Buck: "If they were intelligent, I'd Enjoy this..."

Right before the fighters leave, they turn and do a flyby with the dual spitfires, the spitfires turned the Abominations into almost nothing in a few seconds

The fighters and Dropships arrive, when they land and open up... Humans do not come out. But in unison squads of droids march out of the open backs. They all had weapons, depending on roles the weapons and tools varied. The Droids all went in squads to clear out the wrecked ship

The Dropships then close and they fly up and turn to return to the cargo ships, the fighters surrounded the dropships as they returned to the C-23-59 ARMED CARGO CARRIER

Spider Checks the Perimeter before continuing to talk.
"Fun thing is, They waited for us to re-discover 'em by pretending to be a Spaceborne Moth... Thing. Then there was that Swifttail Gal... Hey, She's also a cat person. Think you'd be good friends. Wait..."

The Sector became clear of the Corrupted... Too clear.
"What in the?!"
Ted: "Sir! There's a gathering anomaly at the control room!"
Six: "Well that sounds pleasant. Could go for some tea."
Spider was Clearly confused by this behavior.
"Hey, anyone got hit?"
Buck is Stabbing the Heck out of a Dead Corrupted in the Background. The top of his helmet has a few dents.
"Buck! You Dun Goofed!"
Buck: "Wha?"
"I think they've realized they can't break our armour!"
Buck: "Wait... So they're Smart...?"
Six: "Sh--..."
Dice: "And this is what I call a D Negative Two."
Buck: "THIS IS AWESOME! LET'S RIP 'EM APART ALREADY!"

"We can't deal with Corrupted Cthulu, Buck! That thing's probably a combined monstrosity!"

That don' sound right... I should give the Mouse a Nickname... Let's see... I'll call you Reflect. Anyway. Echo and Reflect... The Reactors are Still online onboard. So, I need you to gather up some power Cells. We'll make a Hole in the Beast, Then You can go inside of the Panels of the Control room and Put 'em there unseen. Whereas us, We'll be your cover. Got it?"

"D2... Yep. The being is trying to taunt us... Or test our capabilities. For the CORRUPTION, this behavior is Highly Odd..."
