A jungle-like planet, with a lot of different fauna and flora, which is home to the Karagarians.
Krag was formed alongside Ruk, Ulan and Sufi when a large star split into two and gave off enough collateral energy to form the systems planets.
Short summary:
The sentient beings that inhabit Krag are the Karagarians. They have a stout appereance, being 1.45m tall, with tough black/grey skin and glowing yellow eyes.
They are ruled by the Karagarian Government, and live in caves under the large, dense rainforest on the surface. But not just some hole in the ground, Karagarian cave systems are large, open Cities underground with usually small alleyways and streets and just a few big rails for transporting goods. One might imagine these Cities being dark and gloomy, but because of the steady rain and lack of sunshine the plants that grow in the caves are flourescent and it is bright as day.
In these small streets a lot of small markets sell goods and food, but travellers be advised: stay safe and always carry a blaster or high-caliber pistol, because Karagarians love to cook and there have been incidents of travellers being snatched off the roads and used as ingredients. This has been lawed out for a long time and the authorities try desperately to stop this, as Krag is a world living off trade.

Kragite is a metal that is only found on Krag. It has the function to regenerate itself if one of our emitters is held against it. Weirdly this only works on Krag, as if the metal would not want to reproduce one other planets or in space.
It is very hard and versatile, if you want to buy some, just ask,
Flora and Fauna on our beloved planet:
Flora:
Rapturans:
The Rapturans, also called the Man-Eater, is a large flesh eating plant killing any living being that walks into it slowly by fist paralysing it with toxic fluids and then digesting them over a 1000 year period while the victim still is alive and feeling every last bit.
Fauna:
Kragan:
Given the world its name, it is a 4/5 meter big pack-hunting predator, which is on the top of Krags foodchain. If a Karagarian kills one of these on his/her own, they get rewarded with a special title and are seen like a war hero.
Trenk:
The Trenk is a medium-sized herbivore, which is grazing in herds in some of the less overgrown areas of the planet. It closely resembles a yak with the only difference that it has no horns, but instead two big tusks coming out of its lower jaw, giving it the appereance of a wooly mammoth.
Fuda:
A small omnivore resembling a rabbit or deer, surviving at the bottom of the foodchain. They are scavengers and always look for carcasses or carrion to feast on. If they do not find any, they usually resort to plant fibers and roots.
Kilmir:
The Kilmir is a loal doglike animal, which can be tamed and can serve as a good guardian or pet. They always have to live in pairs ore more, because they will die of loneliness otherwise.
Government:
The Karagarians are ruled by the High Leader, who has command over the Government Military and police forces, which is democratically voted by the High Council, which also decides who is currently on the position of the High Judge, who decides about cases that cannot be solved by regional judges.
The High Council is voted by the Karagarians themselves.
Currently Kutarn Zaki Kragan is in the position of the High Leader, and Wutir Hatrik is High Judge.
The opposition of Krag has been undermined by crime lords and bosses, which is why Ratir Kur Neka, the Leader of the Opposition is not represented on the High Council. He is actually being searched for by the government: two Krit or Credits and half a chicken as a reward for anyone who turns him in.
Culture:
The Kragarians have a very rich culture and love to trade and barter, but they are also extremey caring and help any Kragarians in need, which is why there is no welfare or insurance. There are a few Kragarian painters and musicians, and the Kragarians cooks can be interpreted as artists themselves.
Infrastructure:
The planets surface has large natural Holes, which go down about 2 to 4 kilometres into large open cave systems. At the bottom of each of these holes there are stations for Spaceships to dock, refuel and trade.
Around these stations cities of huge dimensions unfold, all being illuminated by flourescent plants glowing red, yellow, blue, green, in all colors. these Hole-Cities are being connected by long rail systems and tunnels, in which thugs and thieves wait for a chance. Do not travel from city to city on foot without being armed with at least a high power rifle.
We hope you enjoy your stay with us on Krag and check out our dockyard, you can buy some of our ships there.
