DocSlime (By the way, Gladaxia is using another faction, not darkness, as the hospitaliers are also enemies with darkness faction, also, the rear bulkhead is encased in a stasis field, and as a stasis field stops time inside it the bulkhead is effectively suspended, therefore anything that passes into a stasis field will compact down to the width of the first atom entering, which would ruin your lance! as such i have chosen to beleive he chose the foreward bulkhead which is only metal, and he could cut through as you described. could you please detail Hexer and Unit 66's equipment and what are the capabilities of each item?)

Hexer's Gun
Fires a hardlight-encased self-sustained projector with a miniscule Th reactor and a magnetic accelerator, causing the total shell to rapidly accelerate to nearlight speeds after travelling appr. 1 km and for 2 sec. Holds 6 shells, single-action.
Damage scales with distance and time travelled, increasing in geometrical progression. At max speed, domed shell plows through ~3 lightyears of vacuum and ~2-3 km of common pebbles. Drill-shaped shell used by Hexer rotates and thus reaches full speed in about 3 sec still travelling for 1 km in that time. Can plow through ~3 lightyears of vacuum and ~6km of common pebbles, or ~20 km of solid ground. Note that both types of shells require a modest amount of distance and acceleration, dealing no more damage than a common gunshot at point blank. The hardlight used only charges up after reaching max speed to redirect power to hardening, and thus does not absorb force of normal resistance at close range, harmlessly shattering the shell. Each shell costs about 50000 converted to IGC (InterGalactic Credit)
Royal Guard's Halberd
Uses an array of directed reactors which supply power to a hardlight blade which can cut through about 10m of any solid and has to recharge for ~0,5 sec afterwards before powering up again. Incredibly thin edge, thinner than metal swords can physically obtain, consumes energy to be kept in place when swung through air, considerably reducing the total cutting length. Explosions greater than a firecracker, direct hit gunshots or laser shots instantly disable the blade for ~2 sec. Hardlight shots or impact blows up the whole halberd. Handle is made out of compressed lead, providing moderate durability, but even if the insides are only slightly bruised, the halberd explodes with about 200 kg of TNT of force (comparable to medium-strength bombs dropped from bomber planes, will probably kill just about anything humanoid-sized at about 5m range and possibly further, including the user).
Hexer does not wear anything that can provide any reasonable protection and relies on his shield hat, which channels a shield for ~3 sec to cover his whole body and clothes, absorbing a total of about 30 M16 or similar shots, or two-three firecracker-sized explosions due to hardlight's unique properties. Will provide a one-time full deflection of a grenade explosion, but will simply run dry afterwards.
U66's armor is more than reasonable for its size, and comparable to a knight's plate armor with a flak jacket strapped onto it. The shoulder guard is pointy and can be used to shoulder-bash someone with or without charging for low damage comparable to a conventional knife stab. Provides good resistance from explosives, shrapnel or peppering from an automatic pistol, SMG, downscaled handheld miniguns or similar. Heavier calibers will definitely pierce the armor, but the helmet is reinforced with about 1mm of steel, and a Glitcher is pretty much alive until the head is severely damaged, allowing for even living heads on wheels or maglev plates if desired.

He wears a Kel´Shir hazard suit, though he modified it with a shield generator. For self defense he has a small plasma pistol and a heatblade. A small droid, remotely controlled by his brain implant, sits on his back, and can be used for a variety of purposes.
