Walt You know,6 months ago i thought mods made this game great. but looking at what youve done and all youve added, this game is muuuch stronger in the vanilla mode. Thx for staying on deelopment, we all love your work!

Does lateral thrust mean sideways thrust??
Walt When a ship is spawned and crew are teleported from their beds to their various stations, the crew will no longer be teleported to completely separate sections of the ship to which they could not have ordinarily walked.

Walt 2-Way Small Thruster, which is like two Small Thrusters in a single unit.
3-Way Small Thruster, which is like three Small Thrusters in a single unit.
Huge Thruster, which is an even more powerful 3x3 thruster.
Engine Room, which increases the thrust and power consumption of adjacent thrusters by 50%.

Walt The Standard, Large, and (newly-added) Huge Thrusters now require some amount of time to achieve full thrust. The Standard Thruster takes 1 second to achieve full thrust, the Large Thruster takes 3 seconds, and the Huge Thruster takes 6 seconds.

Walt Standard, Large, and (newly-added) Huge Thrusters can no longer exert lateral thrust.
Reduced the lateral thrust of Small Thrusters (including the new 2-Way and 3-Way variants) from 30% to 10%.
I thought they would all get equal lateral thrust %age (or no lateral thrust).
Since we have specific 2/3 way thrusters that would be reasonable i think.
I see that keeping the lateral trust for small thrusters is intended to sove smolships.
Hope it wil not be exploited again by, mostly diagonal, ships that only use smallest thrusters.

That does mean 1 / 3 / 6 seconds when played in normal speed i guess and is scaled when playing in different speeds - or it would hardly make any sense?
Rly fear players will exploit the smallest thrusters again

my game just crashed in multiplayer when i was in a game with @SpaceCat and @That_Angry_Man, unfortunately i dont know why as i was a noob and closed the error page, thought i should still let u kno tho

Ok - had a go with thrusters.
In Races: Larger ones need so long to get to full thrust that the ships with smaller thrusters reach the destination quicker simply because they accelerate much better.
In fights: go all small thrusters or die waiting for thrust to build up!
Larger thrusters only make sense over very large distances, which are not present in multiplayer (ring of death) and also large distance travel is hardly ever usefull in singleplayer.
Also smaller thrusters beeing the only ones with lateral thrust now kills using any other thrusters then small for small and medium ships.
All but small thrusters are pretty useless with this thrust-delay and no lateral thrust.
