(telepathic bursts only work against sentient beings, or machines that use a sort of psionic network e.g. Dimensional Collective, telekinetic bursts would be something different as they directly apply force, but that´s not the current weapon setting. It´s also a way to see if a sentient being is still alive.)
...seeing that the telepathic bursts didn´t work, the escort in the back which had readjusted his weapon in the fight with the Kragan, dropped the anti-Virus ammo and started firing his weapon it seemed to have considerably more recoil than before, but he didn´t seem to flinch regardless, from the barrel of the weapon several purple glowing crystal shards were fired with enough force to pin the enemies to walls, ground or even ceiling if the firing vector was right, with several loud, unnatural, energy discharge and explosion sounds, he fired one burst at each enemy in quick succession...
(However, I´d like to wait for @Tson ´s reaction first.)
