Undated_Abyss Darkness: We can certainly live in any galaxy, but yours is more interesting for us thanks to its exponential number of black holes. We have laid basics here and relics guarded by monsters (avoid planets with holes). We are mostly in the center of this galaxy, as long as you do not take this area, everything will be fine.

Those black hole are artificial, and we made them, so we surely have the rights to live in them....
The planets are of little concern to us as they will likely be destroyed by our reinhabitation of the area.

(Yeah they would have found lots of abanedoned defence platforms (with quite a few holes punched in them)
Some much larger heavy defense platforms (Which have blast impact craters on and appear to have had fighting internally)
And the Ruins of the Void-Imperial Palace which there has been heavy fighting in and around with many wrecks)
