So, I'm curious about what's causing this. I know you can enter blueprint mode to make temporary changes without spending credits, but I'm having a problem with construction.
Why is it that whenever I try to move things around, I lose money? I either lose money doing it in regular build mode, or I see the cost go up to Make It So when in blueprint mode. For an example, say I want to switch around the reactor and control room on the starter ship. I move the control room up to the very front behind the lasers, and I lose money, about 2.5k credits. I then move the reactor to where the control room used to be, and I lose another 3-4k credits (total cost 6k credits), despite never actually removing/adding any objects. If I move the control room to where the reactor used to be, the total cost goes down like 150 creds.
Here's the clincher, though; even if you put everything back where it was, you still lose credits when you're done. This applies both for building mode and the total cost in blueprint mode. Even if I put all the stuff back I'm still going to lose about 500 creds for whatever reason.
I honestly can't think of what's causing this, aside from maybe the game deleting the item and repurchasing it every time you move it...? I'm still gonna play and I'm still gonna love it, but this kinda sorta maybe sucks all of the butt.
