The planet the Mak were swarming is suddenly revealed as the 30 trillion Mak nearby all FTL away, the rest of the Mak in system following suite, the planet now revealed to be absolutely covered in factories and supercomputers, too small to have an atmosphere of its own, sheer industrial output maintaining a very thick carbon atmosphere, massive Hypercores deep inside the planet shutting off containment, it begins to shake as the massive rifts into slipspace that powered it begin to swallow it whole, it only lasted for seconds as the entire world was ripped apart and forced into slipspace, everything on the planet disintegrated.
