How do you name the ship? (Ship ID letters and Numbers)

Iantech I know they exist, My computer is too trash to run such a large ship so I'd never build one. But yeah, If you need a Super Battleship, I'd agree SB is good

Rifqi_Fajar_Zain I name my ships by putting the name of it, like Judge-Class, and then putting what type of ship it is, like Star Destroyer or Fighter. I also sometimes name them with a letter, then a number, and then a word, like R-15 Eagle. The “R” stands for ReiCorp (a company I own in the Cosmoteer Galaxy) and 15 is it’s model number. “Eagle” is used for...um...I guess so they can classify each ship from one another.

The ISA uses an ID system for ship registries
Example: ISAV61462MV
Breaking this down, you get ISAV-61462-MV
ISAV = ISA Military affiliation
61462 = Ship registry, this one corresponds to the Marysville and the Ethera
MV = What class this ship is, MV being Marysville

ISA affiliation
Either Marysville or the Ethera
Marysville class
therefore this ship is the ISAV Marysville

Rifqi_Fajar_Zain I like to do my ships like that as well but I also mix my ships names of with a little bit of my YouTube channel and my passion of WW2 history. For example I named a fighter the “TF-44” because it stands for (Tank Fighter- model 44)

Iantech I did say I based my process off of Soviet tank serials, not actual naval ones, thus my serial doesn't actually use correct terminology

Marysville as in the Lead Vessel of the Marysville Class, most of the time the ISAV isn't added to the ship names.

Oh yeah... oops. (But tbh, naval terminology is more correct here, because this game is more similar to pre-dreadnought ships than anything else (except the missiles and missile defence))
