FangTheCat The droid soon warps the ship back to the original area, but the Gunner droids were now getting agitated that they weren't manning the guns. The pilot now has only 3 choices for weapons.

3 options know appear on the terminal on the command bridge.

Fill in 2 Medium Turbolasers and 1 Laser cannon.
Fill in all the laser cannons and have no one manning the turbolasers.
Fill in 1 turbolaser and fill the rest of the droids into laser cannons.

FangTheCat @RandomCommander Suddenly, the Scavanger’s weaponry powers down.
The power grid shuts down.
The central reactor begins to hibernate.

The only exception is the mega laser cannon, which remains online, apparently with a limited stash of power still reserved. It turns to the cruiser attempting to ram the base. The laser’s appature widens, and a low power pulse is sent to the frigate’s fromt end. Despite it’s insignificant damage, the sheer force turns it a complete 180°, well off course.

Meanwhile, another energy signature appears from inside the base

RandomCommander FangTheCat all of a sudden, a magnetic pulse appears from Scavanger base. This is the reason why their weapons had gone offline, to protect their own equipment from damage. This EMP is thanks to one of the Scavanger's famous doomsday devices, this one specifically an EMP bomb. The Scavanger base's systems will come online soon, except for the super-laser cannon which had taken some internal damage due to it still being online. Noble-Maelstrom's droneship will fair much worse, as well as most vessels in low orbit.

Scavanger base to find their leader. Be careful with it... and do not fail us."

HOW THE HELL DID THAT HAPPEN? GRAVITON DISPLACEMENT? QUANTUM PHYSICS? WHATEVER, I CAN ALWAYS JUST TURN AROUND JUST AS...

She wasn't used to controlling large Droneships. As soon as she gave the "Full thrust 180 turn" command, the Droneship started turning around at a snail's pace, going farther away from the base as it did so.

WHY IS THIS DAMN THING SO SLOW TO TURN!?!?

Being young and unprepared, Noble-Maelstrom failed to put up EMP protection in time. The Assault Droneships all get damaged - some even explode spectacularly. When Noble-Maelstrom ran her diagnostics, most of her Fleet was disabled or destroyed, and there wasn't that many functional Droneships left to continue the blockade.

"...this... ISN'T... OVERRRR!!"

From a fair distance away, a set of beacons open up a massive rift-portal, and an Assault-Class Coreship ejects. It stayed pretty far away from the theatre of battle, choosing instead to charge up something within the Coreship. Scans from the relay suggest... some sort of... Teleporter!?

The Scavanger bases’s devensive systems start to come back online. Several hanger bays begin to open, and systems come online. The Scavangers are about to give one hell of an offensive.

yep, AND, it doesnt help that the Particle engine ISNT ELECTRICAL..
the entire thing (Unlike the fleshy beast demon thing) is powered entirely by the particles.. you may have ruined a small battery for the inbuilt coffee machine.. but thats about it..
(The particle engine is STARTED with electricity, but again.. the coffee machine battery does that.. it makes enough power to keep itself going, along with the entire suit (and at 100% it can power a small city..)

The Core-AI Avatar begins materializing inside Delta base, and some Slave-AI Android's teleport in to accompany her. This certain Core-AI has a more slender build, with a wireframe mesh representative of a popular human female hairstyle (a long hair variation) and a singular, large shoulder pads on her right arm that compliments a megaman-style cannon as her lower arm. The Androids are standard Trooper models, but the leaders are heavy models - much larger and better defended.

"I get it," the angsty Core-AI started, "The blockade was a bad idea, but I still need to talk with your leader."
