How much would you say the "common" man/woman would be making in your Empire before the depression?

ImTired the common man (women earn the same.) Is about $100k per month, on normal jobs. It should, hopefully, be about 150k AFTER the depression ends. I do not know about other factions. Taxes WILL be lowered about... 20%. Making taxes about 10k per month.

And how much would you say the "common" man/woman make during this great depression? And if it is low, how do you plan on making prices cheaper and wages higher, if your money's value is so low that you can't afford to pay anyone without going into inter-galactic debt?

ImTired Well, like I said in the previous post, the wages will change, along with taxes. But if you have no money, you can enter a volunteer group. This group will earn about 300k, to get back on your feet. Taxes will be chopped in half, and this will last about 2 months, for anyone in debt.

HOWEVER, people that still earn wages will only earn 50k, due to the empire trying to fix this predicament up.

ImTired All I can say is this... If you do not have a home, or you are in debt, you WILL have to enter the volunteer group. If it is booked, then you will most likely have to find work. HOWEVER, you will be given free homes. The free homes will last until you are out of debt.

NOW I must get back to work.

the IWO is trying to help the situation. unfortunately, it will take 5 days to bring the value of the dollar back up.

So, I heard you little aliens are dealing with the same depression we were about 2 months ago. We have found the "source" of the depression, but simply cannot share it with you, for... technical reasons. How much money do you need to get past the depression? We have a small stockpile of money that might help with the issues.
