A Reliable OP Index Test
While I like this in concept, I can see where the method has flaws.
In short - It is an ultimately subjective test which is dependent upon the player's capacity to build an effective ship. One player's ship design principles may be far more efficient than another - And, by these metrics, any generic missile kite will, without fail, have a near-infinitely scaling 'op index'.
I like it a great deal; I see holes in the execution.
ExperimentAlpha The idea is that the test is supposed to be run multiple times, and using a variety of ships from different players, therefore adding more reliability to the final index.
What happens if the costs are like 120m For a modded ship?
BattleCruiserCommander Erm... you probably should use a different ship?
QuantumRK Sorry, Sorry, I misread that, see https://forum.cosmoteer.net/d/4838-a-reliable-op-index-test/8 for a more accurate response
jbox1 oh... Cause I think my death star is near invincible vs. just vanilla ships, But like 1 or 2 of them.
BattleCruiserCommander The idea of the test is for your ships to be reasonably sized too...
