The Infinity Church (TIC) aka Our Church of the Celestial God (OCCG)
Praise the lord!
The Infinity Church is an ancient religious faction that originated in Terra, just like the New Conglomerate, but much, much further ago than them. They originally started as Greek Orthodox, but when space travel was soon commercialized in 2020, they soon took to the stars. There were hundreds of feudal battles between each other, but they soon were brought [forced] together by Pope Dope I. Their mission is to spread their religion across all galaxies, but the New Conglomerate always halts their plans. They only believe the strongest should lead, and the weak to follow. Soon after numerous expeditions, archaeologists found relics on other planets, and the Church soon inquired. It was found that a "Celestial God" once ruled over all of the universe, and now Church's current mission is to find their so called God, believing that he will enlighten the universe, and rid it of its sins.
The Church employ mass fleets of ships bristling with cannons and laser turrets, with small, lightly armed ships employed in massive swarms to quickly overpower enemies.
Their motto:
Futurum enim nostra, et in nomine Domini
For our future, in the name of The Lord
