An influx of Trader-Class ships, mostly Freighters, have come out of Riftspace and are supporting the Starbase.

Some time passes, and then the transmitter begins to gradually lower its frequency. Multiple unknown energy signatures are spiking amongst the Freighter ships, suggesting that the Trader-Class is using their "magic" in this maneuver. A few more alternating signals from the same source suggest that they are patching up... something, and then the transmission comes back with an unbelievable clarity.

Much of the same occurs, except this time the frequency goes higher. Some significant alterations to the core transmitter seem evident this time around. In addition, all of the Explorer-Class Droneships momentarily shut down, and major anomalies open and close within something inside the starbase, before the Droneships re-activate. This cycle continues with the Assault-Class droneships, and then the Trader-Class droneships - although with the Trader-Class, it took significantly longer to finish. Each Collective Ship seems to be giving off less of a signature now.

Another transmission, but this time it is in code.

The station momentarily surges, powering up back to its normal energy levels - the communication array once again giving off interference. The Freighters that came to the station exit the system via portal, and in their place came more military-oriented droneships from both the Assault- and Explorer-Class. An unfriendly transmission is sent:

Five ships FTL in in perfect formation at the edge of the station's territory, they are crescent shaped, and closer scans reveal the markings on them say "EL1, KECK, VIRO, EVER LEGION" Their main drives power up and they start to proceed toward the station, scanning.
