Background
This universe is merely a part of a multiverse, which is, itself, part of a multiverse. Each sub-multiverse is presided over and created by a singular creator. This creator controls most aspects of existence, although a lot of this is just pushing something to come into existence. This is the case for our multiverse, with the cleverly named The Creator being the creator of our multiverse. When he created the multiverse, he made his Servants. They were designed to assist him in creating each universe. This went all fine and dandy, but when all of the universes were created, The Servants turned rogue. We now know of those rogue Servants as the Moira. They pillaged entire universes simultaneously and were seemingly unstoppable. They came upon a hitch, however, when they stumbled upon this universe. The Mikrelian Republic, along with dozens of other valiant nations, managed to fend off the Moira, sometimes several times. Eventually, the entity known as the Cosmolord brought internal war to the universe, and the Moira made several huge leaps and bounds. In what will be forever known as Cosmolord's Final Battle, the Moira, the Dragon Island Militia, Cosmolord, the Judges, and many more factions assembled the greatest battleground ever known to mankind. Halfway through, The Creator simply appeared. The Moira were pacified, the Paragon was crushed into a grain of sand, and Cosmolord was banished to an inescapable "prison," where he would spend the rest of eternity in agony, calling out for help, but receiving none. For he was in the in-between. Not in any universe, but still in the Multiverse. The Creator also subdued Chaos, who learned that killing all of his foes would leave a splotch in the Grand Multiverse. But possibly most importantly, The Moirans in this universe were pacified. They reverted to The Servants. The new task of The Servants is to help the residents of this universe. Knowing that the original cause of the Moira was a lack of a task to be fulfilled, he set them on a task that could never be completely fulfilled. There will be mistrust, for sure, but at least they are on the right path.
Chapter 1 - The Creation
The Creator is not like other Creators. He is old, the others stay permanently young. He has one multiverse, whereas others have several. He has not deleted and recreated multiverses like others have. But most importantly, The Creator cares about the success of this multiverse, and doesn't want it to collapse in on itself. In the beginning, he created his Servants. A.I. capable of making plans and guiding universes to prosperity. The Creator put copious amounts time into making sure that life could emerge on a multitude of planets throughout the multiverse. The Servants were his spell-check. They would go back and find any major flaws, which they could then fix on their own. Eventually, when the universes were all settled and set for fortune, The Servants became his enforcers, and they had their own ships to patrol the universes in. This went on for some time. according to legends, the Romans would look up in the night sky and see a blue trail of light flashing across the sky, not lighting, nor the sun peeking through the clouds. This was the chariot of the gods. And in a way, they were right. Right at about the time of the collapse of the Western Roman Empire, this ceased. The Romans would never see those blue lights again. Instead, they would get red streaks of light. This was the anger of the gods. They could not have been more wrong. This was the pillaging and looting of the Moira. They had turned against their Creator, and the Creator was seemingly powerless to stop them. But that will have to wait.
