A quick and completely planned origin story of this faction...
Their beginnings lie in their home galaxy of Star Cluster 9V, the system is currently under the F.I.G.'s complete control with resistance being virtually non-existant, with their tight regulations preventing even whispers of doubt.
After much time of their version of balance and peace, a convoy of traders and explorers from a distant galaxy arrived and they attempted peaceful contact but to no avail they were not well received by the council at the time and ordered to leave and to never return...
They did not obey their wishes...
They instead setup a secret black market and started selling to the citizens their outside technology...
The F.I.G. soon saw this and in a drastic manner they completely outlawed the use and selling of outside tech.
A rebellion called The Freedom Force For all (FFF) soon rose with the intention to overthrow the F.I.G. and replace it with their own government, they included the freedom to use any and all outside technology.
Even though they severely damaged the F.I.G. and put up a fight, the F.I.G. won and later executed all affiliated with FFF, although not all were accounted for...
The F.I.G. then decided from that point forward they vowed to completely eradicate all outside technology.
The rules were later adjusted to suit different situations...
