A second transmission comes through. It's rather odd... it's the exact same person transmitting, but the source has changed.

Oddly, the ship does not seem to see any ships or entities of whoever supposedly owns this... area? The captain thinks, is the ship in the right dimension? The ship was made to go higher than reality.

Sensors detect nothing, Captain hears nothing, but there is the strong feeling that something is going on here. One just needs to think...

Blindly yet assertively it goes deeper into the void - a familiar place, where chaos reigns... but it can also be misleading. Especially this one. What's going on underneath? One can only think of the possibilities.

Something... seems to be close. There is no telling what it is or what it is doing... Wasn't this supposed to be one of the more "Orderly" places?

The void goes on... and then, there's a dim light. It seems to glow red... and is the size of some sort of great structure. But what is it really? A station? A star? It could be anyth--

The ship was hit by a flurry of projectiles... The Messenger can't seem to see, sense or otherwise detect who or what fired that weapon, but the damage is there - left side armor breach, hull integrity collapsing on that side.

What's going on?! What was that thing thinking? ...what was the Captain thinking by coming here? He had a motive for what may have just become a suicide mission, right?

((I've dropped a certain word so many times it should be considered a hint by now))

As the ship reveals its true self, the void begins to clear away, as if taking off a mask that limited vision. The glow is more pronounced, it seems to be a... portal of some sort. To the left is a drone... formed by a rectangular prism with two stocky cylinders whirring around.

You sense it is an adaptation of this ship:

It is far smaller than the ship it is facing, and seems to react defensively upon realizing the full form. It is quite near the portal.

There also seems to be a small battle going on... somewhere. The void is not fully lifted.

RandomCommander The ship continues what it was doing, but suddenly a room of its reactors explodes. The ship is not able to fight, nor to defend itself, and the rays onfrarouges reveals only steel inside the ship. the ship moves forward, while its engines are not lit.
