Ixornvas and the Dragon both charge at the Replica. The Replica changes both swords into Roman-esque towershields and blocks both initial attacks successfully - but it was the continued stress of attack after attack that eventually managed to break the Replica's guard. The Dragon swept a claw under Mirror-Ixornvas and throws him upward, where Ixornvas leaped and spiked the Replica like a volleyball with both hands. The Replica crashed onto the crystal, which shattered both the Replica's head and the crystal shell itself - the fragments dissolved into the psionic ether.
Before Ixornvas' vision completely fades and returns to just being able to detect psionic signatures, he heard some sort of scream - a cross between his own and something robotic... ((Roll: 8)) ...He dismisses it as just noise, though. Besides, he destroyed the crystal finally. That's the only important detail.
Ixornvas can detect... some sort of gateway opening infront of him. The Thulian Dragon did not enter - rather, he created his own rift and returned to the dimension he came from because he does not like this place. At all.

Sokeyr shifts the shape of his basilisk form to accomodate for more heads, using the main head to exhale a jet of blue flame, which is so cold that it burns like dry ice. The additional heads spout water, which spray all around the crystal artifact, and form a sort of icy shell around it.
It seems to work at first, but as soon as Sokeyr finishes encasing the trap, the robotic whispering unifies and directs a message:
Cold is the void that envelops the spark of life.
The ice barrier dissolves. Not melts, not shatters, dissolves. A brief, cyan glow shows that the trap has its own, energy-based shell, and still seems to be functional. Then the glow disappears. Sokeyr hears the agonizing death knell of thousands of strawberryfish ceasing to exist as two of the three cruisers suddenly disintegrate.

He couldn't hear it, but he could feel it... a hidden rift exists, and then doesn't. Sokeyr could feel... the captains of the disintegrated vessels returning to the fight? Something does not seem right about this.
