ZyerFire ... Well considering we have no idea what it is, where it is from, or how we even know it existed if we have no idea what it is... I am utterly confused. It’s like saying that there is something there and not telling what it is or where “there” is.

...after a few days one of your scouts in a Lightning Mk2 decide to examine the coordinates within the asteroid belt out of curiosity, he stops for a few moments infront of the Asteroid field, you notice on the sensors that he´s way off from his patrol route and remember the coordinates...you could send him in, or call him back, asteroid Fields are dangerous ...but, the last coordinates led to a ship wreckage...

jbox1 All of a sudden one of the Lightning Union engineers get up and just stands there then walks towards the intercom and says "The answer lies with someone the Scavengers knew very well. Seek out that person and they can help." Just as sudden as it happend it was gone.

...the Lightning Union decides to send in the Drones that offered their help, by using their sensors from different positions while flying they were able to pass the asteroid field without too much issues...what they found was ...tremendous, when the visual data came in the Lightning Union saw a Massive shipsyard, that was severly damaged but apparently big enough to build a Gae Bolg once all blueprints are acquired and the Shipyard is finished, how could they have overseen this? The wreckage of another ship is still in the construction site, several parts were apparently still missing when the shipyard was destroyed and the ship itself is also severly damaged but in the middle seems to be something that survived the explosions...

Anyway, I see it as a dangerous artifact which could only be a worse endevour to repair than saving a gas giant from falling into a blackhole. Anyway, the drone’s natural instincts of exploration made the drone (s21) continue exploring the shipyard

(On a side note, actual asteroid belts are extremely safe, and often asteroids are lucky to be within kilometers of each other... however, in a fantisiful sci-fi universe, it’s more fun to see them as dangerous clouds of rock... not to unlike a gas giant’s ring though. Random fun fact everyone reading this probably knew anyway 😃)

(indeed...well on the other hand you did not know what else could´ve been hidden in there, aswell as you didn´t knwo what was within the Asteroids)
...s21 started scanning the Shipyard, there were apparently no lifeforms on it, not even corpses or remnants of them, all systems were offline, the stationw as completely shut down, it had several holes in the hull from unknown weapons though. Next it scanned the shipwreckage, most systems that were finished were severly damaged but the thing at the core of the ship was apparently still intact, it was a massive anti-gravity engine core that would probably also fit into the ship the other blueprints depicted, all the other systems were too damaged to be of use you could only sell them on the scrapyard or use them as material for new components.
