Teg Once I've done the paint scheme i'll put the png's in the OP but until then you can find them in my section of the community ships mod for now.

There is something almost beautiful and sadistic watching one of your ships unload its own personal mini fleet and absolutely decimate 2 of your most advanced battlecruisers without losing any ships.

Edit: just ignore the place holder name 😃, giving all my ships actual names is on my to do list.

Is that a new fighter? I don't see it in the OP.
Edit: I see it now, a slightly edited version of the light corv and the light fighter.
Edit2: And 4 new babby light fighters!

Teg Nicely spotted, it is indeed a new fighter. I miniaturized my light fighter and its absolutely adorable but If you have really keen eyes you can see that the light corvettes are also an upgraded version of the mk2's that come with a shield (I'll be adding both soon to the OP)

I like keeping older designs as when it comes down to it you get that real sense of progression which helps supplement the game play and it works really well when it comes to bounty hunter.

Edit 2: As a bonus I've made absolutely sure that the command ship will have the default cockpit after all ships get separated off so the command ship will be able to "build" more ships and deploy them

Thanks for reminding me to add how to my post 🙂
For anyone else wondering:

The leftmost Control Room will be the dominant one, so make sure to keep it on the mothership to be able to rebuild fighters if you make your own.

I'm giving up on trying to give the command ship a paint scheme for now, i'm just out of ideas for it but the craft its carrying all have their respective paint schemes and I will be giving the command ship its own paint scheme eventually.

BUTTERMAN These designs are all vanilla (As I said in the OP and any future designs I post here will be vanilla too unless I say so) and are free for everyone to use. I would like my designs (including paint schemes) to remain un-altered if they are used with perhaps a little acknowledgement but i'm not going to hold anyone to that.

So I decided to put my module ship in a little (completely unfair mind you) combat trial against my strongest ship and well....

Pretty happy with the combat performance of the ship as well as its mobility, I wanted to make it look different than it does but I hit the maximum length limit for the ship so I couldn't style the front/back much differently but I think it still looks pretty decent. I just need to paint it and maybe tweak it a little bit, I've already got some ideas on how to improve it and also use the scaffold I posted earlier as a framework for other ships as well.

Modules make life so much easier.

Edit: If you look carefully you can see how I laid out the weapons, I've put the shorter range weapons in the ships belt area where its closer to its targets and the large cannons are further to the sides which also seems to draw the fire away from the mid section where the electrobolts are

Edit2: Like most things in this game, the ship will be taken out by missile kiters but then the only things that do well against kiters are other kiters anyway, ah well the rock to my scissors (or the paper to my rock).

Finally finished painting it (and made a new version which is cheaper and better than the mk1) and I'm quite happy with the performance/looks of the ship and was honestly surprised a how cheap it is considering I hit the max vanilla build length with it, I've gone ahead and also added it to the OP as well.

I think for the next version of this ship I'm going to widen it by 1 or 2 blocks as that'll give me enough room to upgrade the standard engines in the center as well as tinker around with internal layouts.

So I put the ship against 2 of my battle cruisers this time using battle helper and this was the result I got

It didn't take much damage at all and completely deleted both ships, the combined total of both of those ships is about $430,000 more than what the Roker costs.

I went a step further and pit it against 3 battle cruisers this time but it proved too much. The Roker manage to destroy 2 Battle Cruisers and do a decent amount of damage to the 3rd but was put down as it had lost most of its firepower, it was pretty intense and for awhile I thought the Roker was going to win but the 3rd ship somehow avoided being damaged so when the the other 2 ships were defeated, it was mostly fresh with the majority of its weapons intact.

Working on a new ion ship:

Was originally testing out something another forum poster (dalas) mentioned and I just kept building it. which is a good thing since I lack decent Ion ships.
