Tickytickytango Good point... only the Explorer Class is able to delve deeper into the fabric of a dimension to attempt to localize extremely secret projects such as the Child of Light. Then again, if Alpha-Alpha does not know about the project, what's the point of sending the drones? Every way I could think of doesn't involve Lucy or this Faction in the slightest...

Lucy appears intrigued, but backs away a step.
Two more soldiers enter the bridge.
All crewmen and soldiers in the bridge have guns trained on the android.
Ripper draws both blades and assumes an aggressive posture.
Louis seems prepared to correct the android's grammar.
Lucy gestures to the people on the bridge.
All weapons are immediately put away.
Lucy: "I'm not going to lie, we are a bit outmatched. Perhaps an alliance could benefit both of us..."
The comm. clicks

Soldier: "he's awake."

Willaims tried waiting for his eyes to adjust to the darkness, but it was just too dark.
He tried listening, he could just barely hear the sounds of idle engines. He knew he was on a ship, likely Revenant.

The door opened and Williams heard something in front of him.
When the lights turned on, Williams could see Elizabeth restrained to the chair in front of him.
A bag covered her head and she seemed to be unconscious.
Next to the girl stood Lucy, her sword pressed up against Elizabeth's neck.
Lucy: "Tell me where the Child of Destiny is or the girl dies."
Williams: "It's on the planet, I sent it down in an escape pod as you jumped into the system"
Lucy sheaths her sword.
Lucy: "That wasn't so hard, was it?"
Lucy began to walk out of the room, then, almost as an afterthought, she stopped.
Lucy: "If you lied to me, I will make her death painful."
The door closed and Williams was once again bathed in darkness.

Revenant Bridge

Lucy: "Mark, was there an escape pod launch?"
Mark: "Yes my lady."
Lucy: "Excellent, bring everyone back on-board."
Mark: "What of the girl, she's still --"
Lucy: "Leave her. Williams fell for our little trick."

a small drone holding a letter floats up to Lucy, the note reads:
lucy... i am going to die for now... horizon will keep our deal in check... you must stay within my group of partners, or you will be killed by oblivion... with much respect... cosmolord.
the drone leaves.

Williams: "Elizabeth?"
Why wasn't she answering him?
It had been hours, surely she would have woken up by now.
Maybe she was gagged?
Williams: "Elizabeth?"
What had they done to her?

Revenant Bridge

Lucy: "Is everyone aboard?"
Mark: "Yes, my lady."
Lucy: "Good. Stanley, land us on the planet."
Stanley: "Yes, my lady."

They detached from the ship, good.
That meant they weren't looking for her anymore.
Elizabeth crawled through Revenant's vents, looking for her father.

Lucy: “What do you mean it’s not there?”
Mark: “We found the escape pod, but there’s nothing in it.”
Lucy: “And you’re sure this is the escape pod?”
Mark: “Yes, my lady. Only one escape pod was launched from Williams’ ship and this pod bears its markings.”
Lucy: “Alright, come back up. I’m going to make Williams suffer.”
Mark: “Yes, my lady.”

Revenant

She heard sobbing.
She knew it had to be Williams.
Or at least, she hoped it was.
Following the sound, Elizabeth continued through the vents.

The darkness was pierced by small light from above.
Colonel Williams looked up to see that the light was coming from the vent.
There was something familiar about that light.
Elizabeth: "Dad?"
The light belonged to the flashlight Elizabeth carried.
A second, softer light joined the first as Elizabeth drew the dagger Williams had given her and activated the plasma edge.
After cutting off the vent cover and moving it aside, Elizabeth dropped into the room, landing on the fake sitting on the chair before Williams.
Williams: "I'm so glad you're okay."
*Elizabeth began cutting the restraints holding Williams.
Elizabeth: "What do we do?"
Williams: "We need to get out of here, but I don't know where the hangar is."
Elizabeth: "I passed it while I was looking for you. Come on."

Lucy: "Get the torture tools and meet me outside the interrogation chamber."

Mark leaves.
Williams: "Okay, now's our chance, we can take that Page back to our ship and get out of here before they realize I'm gone."

Revenant Bridge

Louis: "My lady, wait."
Lucy stops in the door out of the room.
Lucy (annoyed): "What?"
Louis: "We've got an unauthorized engine start in the hangar, a Page is taking off."
Lucy: "Is the hangar door open?"
Louis: "No, my lady."
Lucy: "Then they aren't going anywhere."
Boom
Louis: "They seem to have rammed the door. They're out."
Lucy (to self): "Very clever, Williams, but you won't escape."

Lucy: "Mark, change of plan. Get up here."

Mark: "What was that explosion? What's goi-"

Click
Lucy (to self): "The page doesn't have FTL capabilities."
Louis: "They seem to have docked with William's ship."
Lucy (to self): "Ah, but haven't you forgotten..."
Lucy: "Louis, reactivate the microbot on their ship."
Louis: "Done."
Lucy (to self): "You're not going anywhere, Williams."

Colonel Williams triumphantly holds up the microbot
Williams: "Got it! Let's get out of here!"
The FTL drive begins slowly booting up.
Computer: "Danger, hostile weapon signatures detected."
Williams: "We're not going to make it."
Elizabeth sits down, closes her eyes, and seems to concentrate.
The missile snaked toward Colonel Williams' Ship, spelling certain doom for him and his adopted daughter.
Then it was gone.
