(answer to 2nd) I'm captain teerian, my convoy got raided and I was taken prisoner, then I escaped and warped inside a weird ship... oh then this thing came and portaled me here...

i knew it listen we need to get out of here, the planet is not a planet its a living being that was able to sucesfully comsume this entire relm, and is now sending ships into our univers to liberate us from our own destruction and dangerus ways.
He jumps to the cockpit and stars powering up the FTL drive.

he runs off to the other hanger and starts seting up the computer systems

good, i got the systems all set up and put in the jump location theres just one thing though.

the ship jumps to life and he begins to take off, as he flys off a portal opens and he returns to the system where it all started

of course there's a downside...
I need to get out of here...
wait! I got it! if I power up the ship then the missing engines will cause a fire that will burn the place down and blow this tunnel into nothing but rubble! genius!

Back in the system where it all started hight levels of energy and radiation start to show up again, but when the portal opens a OMC transport shuttle exits fallowed by a destress signle
