Automatic Zoom

whenever i start/load a game, the moment i move my mouse, the game automatically zooms away from my ship and also whenever I go to the ship library, as soon as my mouse cursor hovers over anything with a scrolling bar, it just goes down to the list and if i try to pull it back up, it starts fidgeting and tries to go down. is there any fix to this or wait until they patch it?

EpicMir Hmm, strange bug. Is this happening anywhere else or just in Cosmoteer? My first thought was a dodgy scroll wheel.

You can setting button in the device manager in your laptop. Here you check your touchpad status. It actually gets an issue when any software update and then inter bug in your system. So it may be a software issue. I can help you if you need any help with Touchpad issue. You can ask on hp touchpad not working But remember all are tech related

Teg it's just in cosmoteer everywhere else is fine plus im using a laptop with the touch pad

Whilst I don't think this is something I can fix, could you please send the logs so I can take a look? Walt will probably need the logs anyway if it turns out to be a game bug.

Everything looks good to me, have you tried reinstalling the game?

This is a problem a few people have reported, always with a touch pad. It's almost certainly a problem with touchpad drivers. There's probably not much I can do about it. :/

Actually, can you please modify your Documents\My Game\Cosmoteer\settings.txt file by changing the line that says DebugMode = None to DebugMode = Full. Then, run the game until the problem happens, and send me a screenshot.

CassieGriffin This turned out to be a Cosmoteer bug with certain touchpads that has long since fixed. No one has complained about it in many months.
