I find it annoying to use the discord. If you're human, conversations drift. Very few people talk about the same thing over and over. So every time someone tells me to change channels, I find it insulting. Is it normal to have a voice in the back of your head saying, "Hey Jam, you're not talking about Cosmoteer anymore, you're going to get banned!" No. Then, everyone tries to make you look like a bad person for it. I'm going to refrain from using the discord from now on. It's more trouble than it's worth to have a genuine conversation in a public chat.

Sorry you feel that way. I think that the channels are a necessary evil. Talking in the wrong channel will basically never get you banned, unless it's flagrant, deliberate, and repeated. (Basically, you have to be asking for a ban.)
I fully expect the moderators to be courteous and polite when asking people to move a conversation to another channel. If they are not, then please let me know.
