ZyerFire it is designed so that you can make truely consomizable drones, as well as them being (Nearly!) independent and also not exploitable. They will also need a manned ship nearby to control them, or they need to lug around an AI module. This is so you can’t simply switch out control rooms for the drone control. Instead, you will need a manned ship with a transmitter, which controls drones, or a Mothership drone can carry a large, expensive AI module, so they can act independently. Oh, and drone cores also supply power over a certain distance to nearby parts. Of course you cannot use large manned weapons, because there are no men 😃
