An Update on the recent events:
The Tau Ceti Alliance has recently become a member of the Terran Alliance and has said they will fight in this war. But, as they did not have many ships capable of FTL, the TA first had to deliver some prebuilt FTL's and parts. They were loaded into some "Mega-2" transporter ships.
The transport ships formed a train for fuel efficiency and the cartel was on it's way. They were, of course, carrying the white flag.
After 13 lightyears of travel (about 1,3 days time) they had reached the Tau Ceti system and found the TA station where a part of the TCA fleet was waiting to recieve the FTL drives.
After installing the FTL drives they tested them and it worked brilliantly! A part of the TCA fleet is now on their way to DS1.
At DS5, the strange visitor was immedeately surrounded but did nothing.
At first, nobody trusted it and a scan was ordered of the vehicle. A close range scan was performed but the vessel had some kind of shielding that made the scanners go wild.
Then they had a utility fitted with an extended bridge and docked to the ship. They were now attached, but the ship had given no response yet.
In the meantime, the production of Battlegroup-B is in full swing. Here you can see some shield modules being tested. Battlegroup-B is estimated to have ships at least twice as powerful as any other TAM vessels.
Summary:
- The TCA has joined the TA.
- The TCA now has FTL capability.
- The "eye" vessel is docked to a universal utilty vessel, wich will try to communicate with it.
