TheLastBeacon That's a good idea though. Maybe we could also have the same users create ships that can defeat the ships they already made, but at the same cost.

Yes, of course! I think it would be awesome if you created a ship that was absolutely hideous (as in, not good looking at all) that cost the same as your submission, but could defeat it easily. Sort of like an OP Arch-nemesis (but only Vanilla).

Well of course. The idea is to make crazy-hard ships, that provoke the upgrade to their existing ships.

All ships, for now, need to be. The only exception is the base that @neoshaf is building.

xPLAYn yeah. the base is mindlessly massive. like,10,000,000 ish, my laptop is down to like, 20 fps 'when paused and I am planning and having one of my big ships docked with is. oh yeah, like 2,000 crew.

I know it's a tough limit. Believe me, I spent hours trying to make one of these ships.

Just keep in mind that these ships will not stay this way and that there are some creative liberties that can be taken with it as far as the shape goes, so don't worry a whole lot about the aesthetics of the design.

Also, no worries about the text. It most likely won't make it into the final hand-drawn version.
