dafeeeeeeeeeesh They are already gamechanging. They are anti-shield primarily. Using a few can take out large shields.

I mean yes but also their cost makes them kinda impractical to use at times and their shot speed is horrifically slow, i find them losing to a ship that replaces the ion cannons with laser cannons or turbo lasers.

oh and the triple turbo laser does half of what a med turbo laser does isint very useful in my opinion

Super_Mapper We don't have any talented artists working on the team right now, and there is a backlog of stuff that needs artwork. The other issue is as soon as Cosmoteer makes a move to Kroom artwork a lot will likely need to be changed to fit in.

dafeeeeeeeeeesh Gravity Well Generator, Death Star Superlaser REDUX, Ion Cannon Interiors, and then a large majority of the artwork will also need to be remade anyways to better suit the game's new artstyle.

I think a cool idea to have would be turbo-laser turrets but they can only be placed on the side of the ship and you can only see the barrels ticking out the side of a ship sorta like a broadside turret uno? TIk there’s laser cannons and those other star-fighter cannons but they aren’t Powerful enough and have a very very small arc of fire mainly cuz there for star-fighters. But if you could maybe consider doing it that would be awesome, but ik you already have allot to work on. But if you think it could work It would make a fine addition. Thx

Yes basically like that, but more like the arquitens light cruisers side laser canons and how they can retract inwards I think that would be amazing and a retractable feature would be cool as well But I think almost all the already exhisting energy weapons could be made into a so called "Broadside Version" uno? both would look amazing to see and would make a fine addition!

And another idea is to add another weapon to the faction turbolasers in the form of the ISD 2's Octuple barbette turbolasers which Are my favourite compared to the ISD 1's Turbolasers which are already in the game

crispybacon The Star wars mod is currently lacking a talented artist since Kroom is now working for Walt. Even though it may be planned, it will take a long time since they are already closing in to version 1.0 of Cosmoteer and lack an artist.

crispybacon Will likely take some time, but yes we are looking into more side-only type weapons and single barrel heavy weapons also. (Keep in mind at this pace we're on a 1-2 major update per year cycle as the mod is no longer under full development at all time)
