I think the AI takes ammo amount too seriously, my broadsider is flipping over faster than a politician, even before large cannons run out of ammo where they'd shoot maybe 3-5 times before it starts to flip. Maybe have the AI only consider swapping sides when the ammo reaches 10-20% left?
Also, the spread on large cannons feels really good now. The spread on standard cannons feels like it could be increased by 30 to 50% and still be fine. Cannons still are missing shots at range but I think that could be improved if projectile speeds were overall increased by 10-20%.
