Hello Everyone as some of you may know I have been making my own Cosmoteer tournament series and uploading them onto Youtube (Videos below)
Series 0 will be coming to an end and our first Cosmoteer Champion will be crowned, (Has been crowned now)
With only a 4 episode run I thought this was reasonable for a pilot series because it kept things simple.
The series is inspired by such shows as Robot Wars and Battlebots ships are inside an enclosed arena which I built also their are 3 Guardians who keep an eye on the action (2 of them attack you if you get into their Corner Patrol Zone)
The Guardians are based on the house robots from Robot Wars they're mean and and intimdating but that doesn't mean your ship can't fight back, Guardians can be Yellow or red Carded if out of order by ObvservorTron (See first video for Guardian introductions)
Anyway what I had in mind to expand series 0 was to add a couple of special episodes to expand it to an 8 episode run.
My first idea was an international special with 32 qualifying ships, 16 of them would go through to the main international tournament episode boosting the series to 6 episodes. (Now 8 with 2 other specials)
Episodes currently planned are:
Episode 4: The Fantastic FOAR Grand Final [COMPLETED & UPLOADED]
EPisode 4.5: Cosmoteer Wars Series 0 Episode 4.5: Qualifying for the International Qualifiers [COMPLETED & UPLOADED]
Episode 5: International Qualifiers [ALL SPACES Taken 1 RESERVED] [COMPLETED & UPLOADED] (THANK YOU EVERYONE WHO HAS ENTERED)
Episode 6: Tag Team Hell [8 Losers of the 16 from the International Qualifiers shall be here, 2 ships will be randomly selected and paired] [COMPLETED & UPLOADED]
Episode 7: The Obliterator [8 Losers of the other 16 from the International Qualifiers shall be randomly selected here] [COMPLETED & UPLOADED] (Based on the Robot Wars Annihilator, 1 ship goes out after each battle)
Episode 8: International Special: (All spaces will be closed due to the winning ships of the qualifiers)

Maximum of 6 Weapons (will be up to 8 or 10 for series 1)
Mix & Match out of the choice of weapons and defences (limited inventory to choose from)

2x Cannons (any big or small)
1x Ion Beam
1X Missile Launcher
Weapons and Defenses that are not allowed
0x Electric bolt
0X Shields
0X Point Defense
Ship Parts allowed
Armour Unlimited
2X Extinguishers

Q: Why are the rules so Strict?
A: Because this competition is mainly based around fighter/corvette combat I'm not looking for OP ship I'm looking for creativity and interesting ideas which can also inspire other people in their ship designs for future events.
Q: Can I use mods?
A: No this is a Vanilla tournament.
Q: I've been reading for quite a bit can I see a bit of Action?

Q: Is their a Deadline?
A: Yes if you would like to enter for any of the events I have just mentioned then the deadline will be for 22nd September.
Also Ships that have entered will get automatic entry into series 1.
