Walt Welp...

    Super_Mapper Everybody is equal

Listen here, no one is equal. If it was the world would be chaos. There needs to be a difference so there can be balance.

Roasted Altraxia Let's keep this thread limited to discussing the rules, thanks.

Please keep this to questions about rules.

ProntoManagement Hey, sorry for very late response, but if it isn't too much to ask I'd be perfectly fine with getting my account deleted or terminated.
(I'm probably never going to use it anyways)

            Query:

Can you necropost on stuff literally in the top 5 most recent threads of a forum? Though they may have been inactive for a long time I don't see any consequence especially since it's already at the top...

ResExsention No, normal rules apply. Posting on a thread still sends emails by default to the participants in the thread.

Walt can I necropost on discossion of me?

                Admiral-Ackbar yes

Admiral-Ackbar The rules for necroposting apply regardless of whether you're replying to a thread you started or not.

Walt @Saris just had a really interesting idea; is there anyway to have discussions automatically lock after lets say 3 months of going unused? It would prevent a lot of necroposting, and if someone really wants/needs to appropriately post on an old discussion, they could just ask a moderator to unlock it

CaptainRedstone Perhaps not have it as an automated thing, but a personel setting?

CaptainRedstone I could probably find an extension to do that, but I don't know if it would be flexible enough to work how I want it to; i.e. not auto-lock threads in certain tags (mods) and pinned threads.

How does rule 14 work with built-in ships? Can they be freely reposted or does Walt (/ however designed the contest ship) need to be asked?

Hatter You can post built-in ships, just don't claim that you made them.

Walt But giving the respective credits, I guess

would an advertisement/recruitment post for a mostly in-cosmoteer rp go in RP or in events?
(the rules aren't finished, but if you want to see them i can dm you an invite to the discord server, which is owned by Dafeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh)

Are you allowed to "bump" your own threads to the top of a forum to attempt to redirect attention back to them?

ResExsention Are you allowed to "bump" your own threads to the top of a forum to attempt to redirect attention back to them?

It's not explicit disallowed, but if you abuse it that would be considered spamming.
