Still waiting for docking so I can figure out where all the pieces are gonna go, but:
Motherships
I have a mothership but it's not done as its so big it takes a while to build.
say hello to arktoros (it sucks i know)
My mothership the USS Spacebutt
Heres mine
or this one

Odin, flagship of my 'Asgardian Armada' - a full fleet that I'll be posting soon. I just barely got it to fit in the normal ship grid. Not as big as most of these motherships, but it's capable.
4m cost
4400 tons
67 standard cannons(max of 24 to bear on broadsides)
16 missile launchers to deal with ships it can't catch
104 shield generators backed up by power storage
Its booty is the weak point. Can't let anything get behind it.
Cool

Wow, your Odin eats this game for breakfast....
I wanted to do a video but the lag...
Anyway, Odin is a hammer you don't want to encounter in deep space...Or anywhere else for that matter.
Tobi-wan_Kenobi That is a really good ship.
It took out the Baron's Fist. Mainly because the AI is just dumb
But it fell to this
The Wrath. Although your ship nearly won the fight

Triop Too parts-dense I guess. Most ships don't try to cram that many turrets and shields in such a comparatively small space. It has the turrets and shields of a mothership twice its size. It does lower my frames quite a bit - I often have to drop down to half or quarter speed when fighting other motherships to get a decent framerate.
culanns_hound That's a lot of missiles on the Wrath there. Looks fast too, and those electo-bolts probably made short work of Odin's shields.
Did you fight out of gun range or did you get in and brawl? Odin can't deal with a sustained missile barrage. Some slip through and eventually it gets worn down. I could fix that, but I think it's important to give our ships weaknesses. It makes them more fun to fight against.
The Odin honestly isn't hard to beat when controlled by AI. The system constantly targets the wrong thing and turns its vulnerable stern towards the enemy, and wastes good dps time. It's most efficient when controlled by a player. Guns require player management to achieve optimum results.
EDIT: I did a fight against The Wrath and I took control of the Odin and I did manage to prevail, though I wasn't exactly unscathed... My front fell off!
Tobi-wan_Kenobi Well the Wrath was designed to take down one of teg's ships, which it did, The way I did the fights was both ships were set to AI. If I was controlling mine it would have given them an unfair advantage since both are relatively quick ships. The way I tend to fight is to weaken the enemy with missiles and ion beams from long range and then to swoop in for the kill when it has been sufficiently weakened. In fact I did that with the Baron's Fist and easily won.
Overall it is a really good ship. It doesn't hurt that it looks a lot like my first capital ship, The Hammerhead Mk V. Which was designed before I found this site so it was before I stole...I mean...was inspired by certain people's ships
Work in progress.
They are all... So big?!? I can never overthrow something like those ships with my small laptop....
this is as close as I can get to a mothership
9200 tonnes
534 crew
2.5 mil cost
Tobi-wan_Kenobi omg lol this things super tuff to beat I enjoyed challenge.
Delta Well that makes me happy.
If you want to fight it in bounty mode along with 11 other ships, check out my Asgardian Armada mod.

Tobi-wan_Kenobi Already did and blown to bits repeatedly. even with capitol ship weapons mod and bubble shield the Odin is a ship to be reckoned with in bounty. Love your shield set up very crafty, efficient and effective.
