The great recession hit the economies of G-S16. For the GBE, it was the delta crisis all over again. And as they had been aided in those times of doubt they sought to overcome this new struggle together. The members of the Union of Judgement were called to discuss the recession, the Musavian war and the recent attackers in a digital meeting. Max three representatives or speakers for each nation was allowed.

And as they had been aided in those times of doubt they sought to overcome this new struggle together. The members of the Union of Judgement were called to discuss the recession, the Musavian war and the recent attackers in a digital meeting. Max three representatives or speakers for each nation was allowed.

The recession hits the industrial sector of Earth the hardest. For the UEG, their initial trade deals with the lizards sought an influx of materials into the market and the creation of trade stations, and an embassy. The recession however, did not hit on other colonies as hard as economists initially thought because of the vast cancellation of GL&M contracts, deconstruction of buildings used for dealings, and cutting most or if not all diplomatic due to allying with the GBE many years ago.

High leaders of the UEG hold sessions to discuss who to send to this up and coming meeting.

The VWP was already rapidly taking steps to deal with the impact, but by this point it was far to late to stop, only mitigate. Given their recent political stance, the VWP were relatively eager for greater co-operation. As expected Kotaii was the chief representative connected to the meeting, however with him came but one individual. Their appearance was not exactly Vaiaelon, but that same 'Lon-reminiscent android that had appeared at the early Senate meetings all those years ago. Kotaii seemingly didn't acknowledge their presence, and they themself didn't speak, however there was a message encoded deep within their transmission: "Hello again, Alpha."

The GBE had brought two representatives. Only one of which was human, the other belonged to the race informally known as 'Ka', recognized by their short orange fur and long face. The economics were out of the question for them, trade to even out the differences in certain markets between nations and of course the allowance for corporations to operate in each other's nations. That would be discussed later if there even was a discussion. They were here to talk military.
"I believe that in these times that our state organizations are the most vital provider of jobs and stability, and as such the military has seen an influx of funding." said the human. The Ka continued,
"And the threat of the returned GSR and Ezikiels empire is quite clearly targeting our alliance as a whole. Other than an increase in military funding, I suggest a joint union armed forces, consisting of the peak of each one of our strengths. Our first suggestion is to cooperatively construct shipyards and dockyards that can support the union fleet after our designers have envisioned our war machines.”

Jacob explains that a joint military would be greatly beneficial as border incursions, and attacks are becoming more popular than ever in the UEG. Having a joint fleet of warships able to defend each others territory would booster current defensive capabilities of each nation regardless of how powerful they are.

These ships would have to contain each nations current ship technology in order for them to be greater than great in a galaxy where hostile forces grow by the minute.

He also agrees that cooperative shipyards should be built. He proposes each member should have a dedicated station or facility to construct, and repair ships in this proposed fleet as well as current ship rosters each nation uses.

Kotaii nodded as his compatriots spoke, having no qualms of his own about the points brought up. He took the opportunity to voice his mind once Jacob was done speaking his.

K: "I do agree with the sentiments brought forth thus far, however I must state my concerns. While it's all well and good having a cooperative navy, under whose flag would the crews be fighting under? Their own nations? The Union of Judgement? Or something else entirely? Furthermore, should the project go through, species-neutral accommodations would be paramount to the War Pact's participation. I myself have tried to fit into your human chairs before, and let me tell you it was not a pleasant experience..."

Alpha sensed what he could only describe as a chuckle in binary format, shortly before a follow up message snuck through. "Oh, call it a lucky guess~ And how are you? The humans treating you well? It has been some time since we spoke."

”Yes, we shall each host our own dockyards.” said the Ka, ”However due to the complexity of these ships, we recommend that shipyards be focused in our space as our production facilities have a history of being capable of manufacturing vessels of very precise and complex engineering. We must also produce a dedicated dockyard for the largest class of union ship, the battleship. These dockyard can serve both GBE and union battleships and battlecruisers, serving as the necessary infrastructure for our flagships.”
The human lady turned to Kotaii’s hologram and said, ”They will operate under a joint command and they will be under the control of each consecutive nation. However their actions and operations will be regulated by a union government branch consisting of a representative of each founding member state. Should at least one of our member states disapprove, the force will not be able to conduct the operation. Additionally our warships already poses environments and modular seats adjusted for members species. I’m sure that your engineers only have make small changes to make it suitable for your demands.”

The closest thing I can perceive as ‘feeling good’ is completing a task. In that case I am feeling good. They have assigned me numerous duties, though not enough to keep all my circuits running. Or are you referring to the maintenance of my body?

"You raise a great point about the shipyards. Now, what about defending this shipyards from hostile forces? Would their be minimal requirements as to how they are defended regarding ship numbers and classes, or will it be the shipyards themselves being able to bolster their own defences"

Diplomat: "The Union Government branch is an excellent idea, specially with approval and disapproval. However, what happens if of the Union nations is attacked? Would other nations be obligated to come to each others aid? Secondly, what about one governments trade partners and allies outside of the Union? Would they have coverage if a trade route was attacked by a hostile force as an example."
