Soon after being captured the Bouys signal transmitter began to fade before finally stopping all together, After which the ship then moved a short distance away from the anomaly and raised what appeared to be a communications mast. It sat there for a few minuets before retracting the mast and submerging back into the void...

The station returns to complete darkness after closing the hanger door for the shuttle, resuming its stealthy status in such an environment, but the parallel rows of light still remain blinking to guide the potential cargo.

Thrusters ignite upon the starboard side to push the ship away with more distance, half then power off after a volley of the main guns is fired ounce more, the large shells being fired at the station while interception missiles roared from their launch tubes and launcehrs. Then the rear front thrusters upon the starboard disengage as the front port thrusters fire up, aiming the bow of the vessel towards the unknown foe. The bow torpedo launchers, large in size for large-scale capital cruise missiles on the equivalent. Begin to open as preparations to fire were made.

The station let loose a volley of missiles as if no longer caring about their reserve anymore, but not guided towards the fleet, instead, most of the bunch simply cross path between the fleet and the station, soaking up shots and reducing into clusters of artificial suns, eliminating the rest of the munitions. Fortunately, the first few shots manage to pass through the fiery barrier, so some damage towards the station is expected.
As the fireballs dissipate, the station seemed to have increased distance from the fleet, with a trail of unknown parts in between. The direction where the station is going seems to be against where the edge of the anomaly, meaning that they are actually trying to flee into deeper portions of the space.

The ship enters the dock and lands, after waiting for sulk docking procedures to be completed the ship opens up and out walks a small crew carrying 3 large crates opening them in the hanger, in 2 of the crates are ammo with some fuel hidden at the bottom and the 3rd crate has some food with a note
”We thank you for your assistance and kindness, we hope this extra food may come in hand, treat yourself to some real food and keep your moral up, safe travels.”

The station flashes its lights once more towards the fleet, in standard morse code pattern.

Once again, the fleet departs into the darkness, and with the previous station's signature becoming smaller and smaller, to eventually exit the maximum range of detection, there is no other contact thus far.
But, through some repeated calculations, it seems the effect of the surroundings would gradually increase as they venture deeper into the anomaly. With some predictions using the given coordinates by Xar, it is estimated that when they actually reach the center of origin, the shields would simply drop to personal shield levels even under full power allocation.

The ships begin so slow down as they discuss their options
Captain "The further we go the more our shields take a hit, how are we feeling?"
Science Officer "I suggest we drop the last drone and see how it on its own holds up, if it slows down to a halt then we head back, but if they hold up we should continue."
Frigate Officer 1 "A good number of our men wish to head back"
Frigate Officer 2 "We are willing to continue"
Destroyer Officers 1, 2, and 3 "We are willing to continue as well"
Destroyer Officer 4 "My men wish to leave as well, we don't want to be left stranded in some space anomaly and have no way home, plus so far we have not succeeded even in our secondary goal of recovering people who are stranded"
Captain "Well we cant just let two ships leave on their own like this, and majority seem to want to see what else is in here"
Science Officer "Well, our Primary goal was to find the causation of the anomaly, we are getting closer now and we are still doing fine on supplies, we can cancelled all power going to secondary weapon systems and just leave missile based weaponry available, but what we can into shields and keep piecing through"
Destroyer Officer 4 "This was never to be a suicide mission, we now know more about this anomaly, shields and the grav fields seems to help us push through, I suggest we come back with what ever refits we need and then move further in"
Frigate Officers 1 "He has a point"

The ships begin to turn around and make their way back towards the edge of the anomaly.
The Research Ship drops off another drone and it begins to proceed with its orders.

Everything runs smoothly on the drone, albeit slower than the progress that the fleet can make due to the difference in sheer specs.

Xar's station once again lit up on the detection screen, and as the fleet continues its way, appears within direct visual distance as well. The station hasn't changed a bit, still a tumbling mass of black being slightly lighter than the surroundings.

A glimpse of organic whiteness appears within the visual range of the drone's detectors, before disappearing completely. While no apparent signature is detected on the sonar, the drone did its best to scan the surroundings, before getting one glimpse on a...creature of sorts.
It is almost completely flat, with near to no thickness for any reflection of waves, and while the paper thin appearance makes it seemingly harmless, the ending closest to the drone suddenly opens up, and the entire structure inflates to the size of a small spaceport. The edges are spotted to have similar structure to those captured white blobs on Xar's station, but the magnitude and quantity are no way comparable. Now a gigantic object, it is easier to be perceived and estimate that it is going directly towards the drone.

Onto the last stretches before returning to normal space, everything is calm as ever, with a school of "fish" floating nearby. Having an example for comparison, these "fish" are way sleeker than those caught by Xar's crew, and much less otherworldly, at least resembling an actual fish, with fins and all...but on second thought, how did organism evolved to a similar appearance, while one being in actual water while the other is in literal vacuum?

The Drone continues to move along awaiting what it assumes to be its last few minutes.

The fleet sends out a small shuttle to try and capture at least one of these "Fish"

The creature dodges the drone at the last second, before turning around and disappearing once again. But perhaps caused by a glancing collision, the drone is sent spinning uncontrollably, with part of its thrusters disabled in the progress.

Before a shuttle can be dispatched, the group of "fish" scattered and disappeared, probably getting startled by the fleet itself.

The drone tries to stop itself in place and assess its damages, depending on the severity will attempt to repair any damages however if too saver will try to head bac and find the fleet, if repairs are impossible it will remain in place till its batteries are drained and store any information it gathers

The fleet not wanting to play cat and mouse decide to leave the anomaly and prepare to head home
