Dumb
(My bad, My bad.)
Captain Berganmini would order the ship's speed back to FLK Ahead after the ship would safely settle into the drag caused by the Anomaly. Due to the ship's comically large powerplant, they would achieve a speed of about 28 Knots.
Captain Berganmini would look out of the Command bridge towards his ship, almost, nostalgically. He would turn to the man at his right and remark to him. "You know... this reminds me of my time on the Nuova Roma.. a fine ship she was.." Captain Beranmini would turn back towards the windows, looking at the bow of his ship, gripping his armrest wishfully. "It's like a night action at sea..."
Mr. Berganmini would snap out of his nostalgic stupor. "Open up the searchlights, and man the Compass Deck.."
Just as Berganmini had asked, the Searchlights would power on, and men would rush to the Compas deck, manning the Backup optical systems present on most ships in the Marina Della Nazione. The Optical rangefinders sprung into life, as did lookouts scattered around the ship, searching the abyss for anything of interest with binoculars.
*Captian Berganmini would continue to steer his ship towards the Missing Container ship, it was best not to linger in such a precarious location with such odd circumstances. Though he would order the navigator to mark down their point of entry, in case they got lost, and that of where the Styx are. If they had extra time upon saving their Container ship, it may prove beneficial to investigate how the Styx have responded to such odd changes.
