Yuki patiently counts the steps and waits for a good opportunity to withdraw, not as easy as before with the limited vision of her position and her morph, but eventually, she does manage to find a good enough window, with the nearest two guards walking apart from each other, she leans against the backside and takes a leap, retracting and moving her cocoon morph as a foothold to propel herself backward down the wall, and landed as quietly as possible with a 5 point landing.
Once back on her foot, she takes a path right beside the main road, using each shadow as cover to survey the surroundings before moving on to another, while trying to retrieve that morph which she sent towards the sky, while the one used as the cocoon now floats anomalously right beside her as a metal cube.
(if there's nothing happens during the time which Yuki goes back to the house)
"Welcome back, any new discoveries?"
Mainframe, still sitting on the chair in the same exact posture as when Yuki left, tilts her head towards another chair opposite of the table, which slightly angles open and with a cup of hot drink.
Yuki let out a little sigh and sits on the chair, gently tucks it closer to the table while trying to make as little noise as possible, and picks up the cup and takes a sip.
"Well......first and foremost I didn't hurt anyone..."
"Mhm"
"...wait, you believe in me?"
"Why not? I don't have any evidence that proves you hurt someone, so of course I would believe in you...heck, it's me who picked you as our collaborator anyway, why wouldn't I believe in you."
"Now that you mentioned it...ahem...back on the topic, those trees outside the walls, even though I'm not sure if the trees which i saw are the same as the ones you saw, but..."
Yuki talks about the moving tree, the weird sound, and how after she struck the thing below the tree, the weird sound would get closer, while Mainframe just quietly listen, occasionally nodding her head in agreement.
"...and that's about it, not much that I did and that I can do, especially since I got only two at my disposal."
"That's good enough already, hope Galar and the craft are alright so at least we have support and spares for risky moves...not that I wish to use this body as bait, but if it really comes to essential moments..."
Mainframe cancels the projection on her forearm temporarily, revealing a section of porcelain texture, with little marks left behind through countless encounters. She closes her eyes for a brief moment, before opening up and restoring the projection.
"By the way, where is your other morph?"
"Ah, wait a sec..."
Yuki stands up and opens a nearby window, and a white sphere simply floats into the room and rejoins Yuki, who immediately inspects for any liquid.
"Huh...looks like it failed to do any damage, it's a miracle that it didn't break..."
"You are better off to take some rest still, tomorrow we are going on an expedition ya know."
"Eh just carry me on your back if necessary, i don't want to walk that much anyway...Thanks for the hot choco."
"No problem, glad you liked it."
With Yuki returning to her room, Mainframe pick up the cup and store it back it originally was, before resuming to sit on the position till the morning.
