The Leftovers of war
Too bad you are too far from me
oh, no small FTL vessels?
Exiting Hyperspace in 3.. 2.. 1!
Out of Hyperspace in a random system within R-5 exits 1 Platinum-Class Escort Cruiser alongside 2 Seer-class Recon vessels and 1 Strongarm-Class Freighter. a Seer begins scanning the system quickly. Upon hearing the rumors, they have been going between systems that have had reports of strange activity, yet to have any luck, they do routine scans and searches, as the hyperdrives begin to charge again.

Even tho the carriers have almost no fuel, the Sensors still detect something. Crew members run around franticly since this is the first contact they had in like 1 week.
A disstress Signal is sent out.
Aboard the Platinum-Class Cruiser 'IDS Gleaming Metal' The Captain speaks out.
C:
"Signals? Woah, that's new, bring us in and lets see what we can-:
Comms officer pulls him aside and tells him of the distress beacon.
C:
"A What!? Distress beacon!? Engines on full burn!"
The Fleet begins moving in towards the locale of the distress signal

The stranded Group trys to prep 2 Falcon T scouts with the little fuel they have left. They don't even have 25% of their tanks full.
They Notice the fighters and send out a transmission.
//IDS Gleaming Metal//
"Unidentified Craft, please respond, are you of the ones who sent out the distress signal? I repeat, are you the ones who sent the distress signal?"

The Fighter with the still working Comms confirms that they sent out a distress signal.
After that he confirms contact to one of the carriers on the ground.
A few seconds of silence raise concern in the colony.
"Did we really just gave our position to some ships that might or might not be dangerous?"
Now they must wait for a response, the colony is at their mercy.
//IDS Gleaming Metal//
"Touch down in the hangar bay and we can discuss further"
With a whirr the ventral hangar of the cruiser opens up, and the ship turns to face this hangar towards the ships, showing its underbelly.

The scouts relay that command to the colony and ask if they should proceed.
"If you want us to survive, do it"
With a bit of fear and lack of much training the 2 Falcons slowly approach the hangar .
Touch down.
AstroDaFloof
They are met by a handful of IDN Marines, their M-1 Empyria Rifles slung on their back and the pistols in their holster. They Help the pilots out of the craft and ask their names and where they came from. Explaining that they will meet up with the captain of the vessel while the fleet heads towards the location of the beacon itself.
Brank
The two pilots tell them roughly what happend, but they don't know much them self.
To get the full picture they said you should speak to their Officer of Security.
They also describe a good place to land near their basecamp.

The Ships begin setting a course towards the planet and the landing zone
Brank
Seeing the ships prepare to land nearby some of the surviving infantery ready their weapons, just in case.
The others try to prepare some sort of meal with the rations they have left to welcome the guests.
It's clear that the colony is split in opinions on this.
AstroDaFloof The Ships land and bays open up, as a single APC rolls out, approaching the colony and shortly parking, opening the door as the Captain of the ship, 2 marines, and the pilots from the Fighters the colony sent out

The Colonists form a half circle around the APC almost completly blocking the way because they were very curious.
The Security Officer pushes everyone to the side so he can talk with the Captian.
Hes very nervous since these other people look like a very serious "No Fucking Around" Faction while they were just a
ragtag group of people who just survived the destruction of their colony. Obviously the uniforn of the Officer wasn't the best after that but he still tried to whipe some dirt off before talking to the Captain.
"So, you got our distress signal? I guess we are at your mercy now" He says in a sarcastic and awkward way. He tries to giggle to himself to break up the silence after that very tastleless and bad joke.
