Hannizio "Yes, I've heard some theories about that, but the amount of practically accessible dark matter, in our star cluster at least, is much rarer. Things may be different here though."

Hannizio "We get most of the dark matter we use from the black hole holding our star cluster together. Interesting thing about it though is that out of the 4 or 5 black holes accessible to us, only that central one has any dark matter."

In fact, without dark matter, there wouldn't even be a star by now. But for now, We will definitely keep the dark matter in place, it may be a prison, but its the best protection we have"

May I offer a alternative? We do not use hyperspace, but instead use a FTL warp based system. We could trade that for the schematics.

"An embassy should finish construction shortly in this system, once we've secured and scouted it, of course, once it is complete you can come and establish official connections. By the looks of it, our losses were relatively minimal so I have no doubt that we will eventually have good relations."

A frigate will go first and send a message once everything looks clear. The HDC Halberd will send a new build construction frigate once it is on the other side. It will begin constructing a starbase with materials from asteroids around. This starbase with long range communication equipment will ensure our diplomatic bound. It will be heavy armored and with a bunch of weapons, but we will give you codes to remotely shut all weapons down, so the starbase wont be a thread to you, but every invader Ill give further information once we start constructing"

Hannizio "Sorry, but I can't allow you to do that, I doubt the parliament would approve. Especially with the scuffle that took place here. We will build our own embassy and after we repair relations I'm sure we can discuss the building of the starbase. Anything else you want to bring up?

But I personally believe it would be a waste of resources as we are going to build one of our own. But I don't fully understand the logistics of it so there may be an advantage I'm not thinking of. Anyways, go ahead and build the station."
