a lot of the time when ships fire missiles they miss and come back around to hit their target and de-spawn before they can hit it. I know some people might have weaker pc's so maybe there should be a slider in settings for longer or shorter de-spawn times.
They don't always despawn before hitting, if you can choose the lifetime of the missiles, people will choose the longest to increase the chance of hitting with boomerang missiles
So make missile spam the meta fun times
missiles are going to get a nerf when the game comes out. walt said they will take resources to make when the mining update comes out and that the missile factories might build missile parts slower.
daft_hamsta All ammo will require resources first of all and second of all that still won’t stop people from maxing out the range making range scaling pointless
the point is to put it as high as your pc can go but there would be a hard limit also its not the range that scales its the time until the missile de-spawns.
dont really have this issue anymore due to playing on a 500% range extension, but when i was on vanilla, yea totally agree
