She just barely pulls up her sleeve and lifts up her chin, revealing a small portion of the many scars she has from battles, one being located on her neck, crossing just over the jugular, luckily the initial wound hadn't been deep enough to cut through said thing.

Natalie once again puls her knees up to her chest, resting her chin upon them with a somber look
"Yeah..."

After sitting there quietly for a while, natalie looks back over towards arra, slightly smiles, and quickly looks away, hiding the lower half of her face within her arms

she speaks softly

"Yeah, i-i'm fine"
She lifts her head back up revealing the faint redness upon her face, which rapidly fades. She looks back at arra and smiles slightly.
"So, like i said, after i had been left behind, i had got my scars. Attacked by elites, ran for days until they caught me. Eventually they pinned me down and.. the rest is history."
she glances at her arms before looking back up

"You were chased for days? That must have been exhausting." she looks at Nat sympathetically. The though of Nat being pinned down, afraid for her life trying to survive hits Arra mind like a blunt object. She look down into the ground again, thinking about the horrors of war.

"Yeah... Really the only reason I got caught is that, well, I gave up. There was no more reason to fight.. My friends, family even, were dead, all the Marines I served with were dead, the whole planet was almost completely glassed, and I had no escape in sight. I just stopped running and fought them head-on until Inevitably, I lost. I still wonder to this day what would've happened if I never gave up..."
She looks into arra's eyes before noticing the sad look on her face
"...Hey, you alright? Do you..."
Natalie moves her arms towards arra as if to hug her, but doesn't touch her yet, waiting for arra to accept the hug
"...need a hug?"

Arra throws her arms around Nat and accepts her embrace.

Natale wraps her arms around arra in a tight embrace and lays her head atop arras, patting the envoy's back gently

As she lay her head on Arra she withdrew. ”H-hey I was supposed to keep this formal.”

Natalie moves back to her seat a bit embarrassed and curls back up into her knees, looking down at the ground without speaking.

No longer knowing what to say, natalie just breathes quietly and sits with her head behind her arms and atop her knees,

natalie sits up and straightens herself out before looking over at arra
"By the way, was wanting to know if you'd like to go somewhere to get to know each other better that isnt a formal interview."

Arra broke eye contact as she said it. She seemed taken aback. ”O-oh, I… um,” she blushes. ”do you um mean like a…?”
