We all know that the MISE is the defacto powerhouse of the Forums. And whilst initially I set out to make a simple and underpowered faction, they naturally evolved to have such an ominous military and political presence that their subversive grasp on the galaxy is choking it out of war-related interactions, nobody wants to cause war because they fear the MISE's involvement, nobody wants to challenge the MISE because of their heavy military assets such as Hyperatomics and the Great Future Capital Megaship.
Nevertheless I reckon it's about time they reached their apex, and their evanescence draws near, so to liberate the galaxy from their supressive grasp and allow factions to exert their powers more freely, I have come up with a plan:
Do note beforehand that all these events would take place after The Ambassador goes missing, as he fills a critical role in the balancing of The Board, and after his dissapearence, this series of events would trigger into action.
First, The Board would fool the MISE's top brass to send valuable military and economical assets to the defense of the GL&M Starcluster Gateway, either by using Bloodcult Magic acquired from their studies of Omilia, or by other dimensional manipulation tricks, or simply by manipulating some other faction or units to perform a large-scale attack. Then, they'd swoop in and acquire the high-importance assets of the MISE, such as the Great Future and some Wartime Vessels, and escape through the GL&M gateway, sealing and destroying it behind them.
Their sudden disappearance causes the collapse of the command echelons of the MISE's political structure, and mass histeria takes place as The Board also targets Integrated Production Database systems, effectively shutting down the largest production power's productive might. It takes a few days or weeks for the MISE's command structure to regain composure and install wartime economy, restorating their production model back to pre-IPD systems, or low-grade IPD systems. In this time, popular unrest would spark wildly, allowing for MURF to spark a revolution which players can partake in for the change of Musavian government.
Effectively, this would allow people to take advantage of a time of weakness on the MISE to strike them, having severe impacts in the faction, making them much easier to access politically and economically. The MURF's growth would now pose a tangible threat to the current Musavian government, which would probably be reworked into a true electronic democracy, rather than a hidden representative system. And most importantly, the MISE itself would lose most of its high-value assets, such as Wartime Vessels, large defensive stations, and the Great Future. However it is important to keep in mind what follows:
Though the MISE would have lost all those assets, The Board would now have them and keep them with them in the old GL&M Starcluster, they'd likely evolve into a cabal of puppetteering entities that meddle in the top echelons of other factions, controlling them or influencing their decisions for some hidden end goal (Made it bold so people saw it).
Essentially, it'd push the problem back and preserve the MISE as a faction rather than as an entity group's tool, however, The Board's power would only grow and become a serious concern, in the end, what I'm asking is:
