Interdimensional gateways, portals of sorts, are extremely hard to locate. Despite the all of the history of G-S16 and the relatively widespread usage of them over the millenia, they still find themselves to be like lost relics of a bygone time. However, the activation of such a portal is much louder than an inactive or passive one.
This loudness wouldn't be heard by many, of course. As the galaxy is of an indomitable and ineffable size,the energetic waves released would rippled through the cosmos and past all with very little consequence. However, not to the lizards. The Musavians were wise in their construction of their integrated infrastructure grid, with it, being able to expand their influence far beyond their borders, and have eyes in almost all of the corners of the galaxy, at least the corners that mattered anyways. It was one of these such stations that detected the activation of the gateway, much time after such had happened of course, and now an Anomalous Research Group will be sent towards it to investigate.
The extradimensional sensors, rare but strategically positioned across these stations, hidden from the investigative eyes of the potential enemies of the MISE, pointed the location of the gateway, as such, the flotilla proceded with a series of small Alcubierre FTL jumps towards the location.
Soon enough, the fleet headed by Teciro arrived a few AUs distance from the gateway itself, 14 large figures stretched thin and then snapped into place, 5 C-3 Direct Force, 3 D-2 Indirect Force, 6 D-1 Drone Strike Force ships. They watched and passively scanned the environment around them before deciding on the next step.
