Anastasia: "Odd for the admiral to need me on such short notice. VARS, is Theta ready for the jump?"

Vars: "Yes."

Anastasia: "In that case, jump immediately to the capital."

As soon as this order is given, Fleet Theta zips out of the nebula and to the capital system.

The Fleet shoots through hyperspace and arrives over taros, the bustling planet alive with activity. Coordinates for the main military station are given and Anastasia is ordered to come alone on a shuttle.

Anastasia, confused as to why the admiral needs her alone and on such short notice, posts a notice to the crews of the ships she commands that she will be away for the time being.

Anastasia departs from the IDS Revelation in a shuttle for Taros.

The Shuttle lands at the station and at the hangar she is met by 2 shadow marines who ask for her to follow them, they begin walking deeper into the station...

Anastasia: "Do either of you know why the admiral needed me? To be called here on such short notice, without any other company from my ships, and refusing to tell me what the purpose for this is? It's almost like I'm going to be court marshaled."

The guards do not respond, and continue to lead Anastasia down the many corridors of the station.

They lead her into a room where she is told to sit at a table. She is told the admiral will arrive soon, and the shadow marines leave.

While she was waiting, Anastasia walks around the room and inspects any number of things she can find. It is a fairly average meeting room, with a holocaster in the middle of the table. Nothing else was out of place, which is unexpected as these first few weeks of the Infinite Dominion's existence have been tense, and hectic as well.

The Holocaster beeps, a call from the admiral incoming.

Anastasia answers the call in a moment.
Anastasia: "Yes, admiral? Why did you call me here?"

Dokkisse
The Admiral Stand in uniform and looks down towards Anastasia
"Due to recent events and reforms, a decision has been made on your status as Vice Admiral."

Dokkisse

Brank
Anastasia: "In which way, sir?"

Clearly fearful for her career, Anastasia waits with bated breath for her superior to respond.

Dokkisse
"We have decided, that due to exceptional skill, you will be promoted to full admiral, and fleet theta will be vastly expanded."

Dokkisse

Anastasia: "Thank you sir."
Clearly taken aback by the sudden promotion, Anastasia asks the most obvious question she can come up with.
"Sir, may I ask from what citation I am receiving this promotion? It cannot be merely on the back of my own skill."

"It is an exceptional skill, and the Imperator Himself has shown interest in your abilities, as well as your display of tactics in the training simulations."

Dokkisse

Anastasia: "Well, regardless, sir, I well accept the promotion with all due respect."

Brank

Dokkisse
"You are dismissed. You may return to your fleet and head to the shipyard around the gas giant in the system to have the fleet expanded. Good luck, Admiral."

Anastasia: "Thank you, admiral."
After the transmission cuts, Anastasia is escorted back to her flagship.
Soon...
Anastasia: "All ships, head towards the shipyard. We're gonna get some new company."

The Skies of Taros shine blue as a whoosh goes past, Reaper Squadron in Formation with Foxtrot Following at a distance, a huge G-51 Cavalier Gunship Chugging Along, as they move towards their target. In Space, a simulated space battles goes off, outdated UoJ Ships clashing against Old Blood Forces, as fake battles happen below on foot. The Squadron Begins to sound off.

The squadron continues escorting the slow gunship, keeping just ahead of it at all times in a delta-v formation. They are roughly 32 Kilometres away from their target...

While the silverhawks remained obscured for now, the bulky RCS of the gunship they were escorting stuck out easily on VSA AWACS sensors. A flight of five XV-65 "Petal" fighters in air supremacy configuration engaged on an intercept course, Blizzard Squadron. Blizzard 2 was flying an XV-65/B two seater, designed to control and coordinate unmanned fighters, such as the XV-65/R that lingered behind.

Reaper's RWR screens revealed a series of new pings despite their own radar systems not picking up anything as of yet. The powerful quantum radars of the Petals outranged the comparatively simple radars of the Silverhawks, though no lock on occurred yet, the radar waves washing over harmlessly.
