He is taken underground into one of the deep bunker complexes of the planet, where, in a meeting room at a large heavy wooden table, the officer sits down.
"So, please, make yourself comfortable. Tee, Kaffee?"
He looks at the Ichlamo. "And, if you could, please tell us a bit about who you are."

Before them lays a large fortress world, armed to the teeth with massive guns and large emplacements, the orbit filled with defense fleets and transport vessels.
The planet seems to be in disrepair and old, but several of the anti-orbital emplacements seem online, and construction of new structures over and under ground seems fully under way.
A few of the emplacements track the movement of the RCMS Starliner, and a message is received:

A few smaller emplacements auto-track the shuttles for a few moments before disengaging and going into standby mode as the small vessels break atmosphere and close in on Landing Pad A5, a large, open and slightly raised concrete octangular area. Several more platforms of similar nature are in line next to Platform A5, with different vessels parked upon them. Around the platforms are large buildings of different nature, some meant as entrances to the vast underground bunker system and others as surface defense posts.
Next to the platform a small contingent of soldiers as well as an officer in uniform await touchdown of the shuttles.

"Kaffee and Tee, or in intergalactic Coffee or Tea, are refreshments in liquid form."
He calls up one soldier, telling him to make up two coffee, the soldier nods and leaves.
"Alright, Keisaer, My name is Offizier Paul von Löwenstedt, it is nice to meet you. Could you tell me a bit more about your nation or faction before ve are able to discuss if a treaty or pact is in order?"

Keisaer nodded "The Akyraté fleet Turcanbeak, well it sorta doesn't exist these days, but we've carried on long enough, and we're not really in the mood to deal with the Longstring. but that's beside the point.. I've heard of the great valor of humanity shown many galaxies away, and I'm not sure if they got here through the Onyx, or if they'd emerged here and went to there, and.." he trailed off thinking there might be some confusion

He gestures the Kel'Shir to follow him below the surface through the bunker systems, ending up at a meeting room akin to a war room, with a large projector showing a star map on the midst of a massive table surrounded by seats.

The officer sighed inside and poured himself a double whiskey, seeing as how this would be a long evening. "Alright, so, you are only a fleet, not a nation, is zhat correct. if zhat is so, may we know how strong your fleet is, and vhat zheir opinion of us is?"

a few moments of silence follow as s short discussion breaks out on the bridge, then the weapons of the first ship of the defense fleet power down as the two other go outside of presumed weapon range.

As it becomes apparent that something is going to exit FTL close to the military fortress world of Unterberg V, the anti-orbital guns of the world turn with an earth moving churn, ready to vaporize a potential attack... But instead, confusingly, a carrier appears on screen. Confused, yet intrigued but wary the commanding officer on duty in System Control of the sector in question of the military world commands an establishment of contact.

"Deep Space Fleet Carrier DW-0731 of the North Rim Expeditionary Task Force, zhis is System Control of zhe Unterberg System, belonging to zhe Second German Space Regime.
Be aware zhat you are in a system of military importance due to zhe fortress world of Unterberg V, and due to zhis vill need to follow commands given to you by said military installations.

You vill need several forms of allowance to be able to legally perform dredging and mining operations in space or on ground of zhe Second German Space Regime. A keen eye would be able to spot a squadron of four heavy fighters on scanners, breaking atmosphere on Unterberg V, heading towards the vessel..

The ships equipment was taking its data in, as it attempted contact.
"This is the Xet-3, we we are part of the Dhao Confederacy. We do not wish to fight but if our life is threatened we will be forced to retaliate, so if weapons can be powered down, then we may continue speaking. If not, then we will leave."

The Xet-3 powered down its weapons, but its surveying equipment stayed operational.

”The intent of our visits is merely an accident” Spoke captain Xue-hi on the radio, “we were going around the galaxy in search of any sort of science or technology we could get our hands on, and stumbled here apon what we appeared to be ruins of an older civilization that had collapsed. Seems our judgment was wrong, and that your part of space was just silent on FTL frequencies compared to other neighbors.”

boombox And just as quickly as it appeared, it was gone. No flash, no spacial distortions, not quantum flux. The vessel and signal all spontaneously stopped existing, as though it had never been there.
